Let marketers do their job.

It’s like hiring a plumber… and then telling them exactly how to fix your pipes.
Or being on an operating table… and explaining to the surgeon how to do the surgery.

So to all founders and managers:
When you hire a marketer, you have one responsibility:
communicate the business goal clearly - and then give them the space to execute.

P.S. And when marketing helps solve a sales, product, support, or brand problem, give public credit where it’s due.
That’s how you build a healthy marketing culture - one that actually supports long-term growth.
