Jira is becoming the fax machine of software development.

Here's what's happening at our company right now:

→ Our onboarding flow is 100% vibe coded
→ Most of our Coworker features are built with vibe code
→ We're shipping to production through AI agents

And when you work this way, Jira starts to feel absurd.

You spend more time filling out mandatory fields than it takes to actually ship the feature. The ticket has less context than a single prompt to an AI agent. The workflow was designed for a world where shipping took weeks, not minutes.

Creating a Jira ticket for something an AI agent can build and deploy in one session is like filing a travel request to walk across the hallway.

I think we're about to see a massive shift in dev tooling. The tools we rely on today like project management, ticketing, sprint planning were built for human-only teams moving at human speed.

AI agents don't need sprint ceremonies. They need context.

The next generation of dev tools won't ask you to fill out 15 fields. They'll understand what needs to be built and help you ship it.

We just shipped a small feature that makes a big difference. We taught Coworker how to handle backend errors.

In complex B2B SaaS products, dead ends are everywhere:
- Unsupported formats
- Broken integrations
- Invalid enums
- Unexpected data from third-party APIs

And when that happens, users get stuck. But not anymore.

Now, when Coworker hits a backend error, it:
1. Tries to automatically fix the issue
2. If it can’t, clearly explains what’s wrong
3. Suggests exactly how to resolve it

Real example 👇
- It fetched a pizza catalog
- Prices were in RUB
- Our enum doesn’t support that currency
- It attempted to resolve it automatically
- When that wasn’t possible, it suggested updating all prices to USD or MXN (since my account is set from Mexico country code) and even used the current live exchange rate from the Internet to guide the conversion.

I've often pondered: What if our data knew things about our marketing that we've overlooked? Could it hold keys to a treasure chest of insights? It's the kind of challenge I relish, the sort that fuels my professional journey.

You see, I find great joy in assisting an eclectic group of people: chief marketing officers, marketers, ambitious business owners, project managers, and creative innovators. Much like a master builder, in my role as Vice President of Data Operations, I craft the tools and blueprints that make digital marketing a smoother, more efficient process. But what do these tools look like?

Data pipelines: These are like the highways that connect the raw data to the places where they can be transformed into meaningful insights.

Digital marketing automation: Imagine if you had a personal assistant who could manage your search engine optimization and pay-per-click campaigns. That's what automation does!

Customer data tracking: This helps you understand your customer's journey, like a map guiding you through the whims and desires of your customers.

Predictive analytics: Picture a weather report, but instead of predicting rain or shine, it forecasts your business performance.

Digital marketing process automation: Think of this as the conductor of an orchestra, making sure each section comes in at the right time to create a beautiful symphony of efficiency.

I am much like a persistent detective, tirelessly looking for clues and connections others might miss, eager to uncover answers hiding within constraints.

Current Focus: The Big Picture of Data Analytics

Today, my attention is directed toward scaling marketing analytics, cross-channel attribution, and digital process automation. That's a lot of fancy words, isn't it? Let's break it down.

Scaling marketing analytics is about making sense of larger and more complex data sets. Cross-channel attribution is understanding how your customers interact with your brand across various platforms. And digital process automation? That's all about using technology to streamline and automate tasks.

In this whirlwind of data and technology, I feel like an explorer in an uncharted land, eager to uncover the best routes to innovation. My ultimate goal? To help brands level up and reach new heights with data-inspired insights. It's a thrilling journey, and I can't wait to see where the data will take us next!
