It's been one month in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Here's everything I'm in the middle of learning from the experience of being in this beautiful place as it unfolds:

▶️ Environment matters. As it shifts, you shift. Notice, accept and allow space to adapt 

▶️ Learning to lower the stakes. When you're out of your comfort zone, everything can feel more risky. I'm learning to not take everything so doggone seriously 

▶️ Nutrition, routine and sleep are make or break. Together, they can either support you or crush you. You get to make the choice 

▶️ Being in the presence of nature. Taking an hour away from the laptop to jump into a river or waterfall makes me feel better and more productive. Scheduling it makes it happen 

▶️ No matter what, on the yoga mat by 6am. Taking the time for my body and mind's crucial self care takes care of the rest of the day. 

Come to think of it, these apply no matter where you are. 

But a place can help to remind and refresh, which, sometimes (particularly in my case), can make all the difference. 

Let's have a sterling March ahead!

The future requires what you’re not yet doing.

Real, proper growth (not the bullshit kind) is rarely about adding new skills but rather embracing behaviours you’ve been avoiding.

Having the harder conversation.

Publishing the unfinished thought.

Making the introduction.

Saying no.

Asking for help (that's a BIG one for me)

We all know what our next edge is. We just hope something else will solve it first, but it won't.

The future version of you is waiting on your sense of willingness.

Community builders often assume growth comes from more activity.

That's called pull (as opposed to push)

Pull is created when members feel seen and needed, not targeted.

Distribution in the modern age is not about broadcasting but rather creating gravity.
