Cape May Stage

Returning for third season as a Box Office Associate. I was also promoted to Volunteer Coordinator this year as well. In this role, I am responsible for managing approximately 60 volunteers. This includes scheduling two ushers per show, volunteers to distribute posters at various locations around town, as well as volunteers to serve as ambassadors at various community events.

• Learned and utilized ShoWare ticketing software.

Marketing Assistant:
• Drafted an email campaign that garnered a 31.3% unique open rate compared to the 32% open rate averaged by the organization at time of send.
• Conceptualized and designed a Facebook trivia campaign for the season-opening show; Utilized Hootsuite for posting. 
- Second post in the series reached more than 600 people and had more than 40 engagements.
• Assisted with a marketing promotion tailored to accommodation owners in Cape May by researching contact information, conducting initial outreach calls, building a segmented list in Constant Contact, and designing poster for this initiative.
• Ghostwrote press release for season-closing show and submitted to regional BroadwayWorld site on behalf of Marketing Director.

- I was responsible for bringing in $80 of the $1293 our organization raised during this event
• Independently-drafted solicitation letters for six potential restaurant partnerships for annual fundraiser

Growing up with congenital medical conditions, I knew I wanted to use my career to make an impact. The problem was, I didn't know how. When I discovered drama therapy in undergrad, the lightbulb went off. I wondered if there was a way I could use my skills in theatre to give kids like me something I never had — a positive way to express their feelings about hospital stays or growing up with congenital medical conditions. For this reason, I would like to become a registered drama therapist. My goal is to establish a drama therapy program within the Child Life program at the hospital where I was treated as a child (Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA). I am currently seeking opportunities to utilize my theatrical skills with various populations while continuing to grow in my knowledge of psychology and the creative arts therapy fields.
