My biggest marketing mistake?

Not sending enough emails

I've spent YEARS wondering what nurture emails to send to leads, how I should personalize them for different buyers, and how to sequence them most effectively

I've planned SOP-style emails, customer-centred emails, behavioural emails, "claim your account" emails

I've created 10+ nurture sequences for different ICPs

But this was all over thinking

Nurture emails have one goal: remind people you exist

Everything else is a nice to have

So I've decided to stop thinking about what to write, and start hitting send

I used to run a music website that compared pop stars with potatoes

Now I spend most my day writing quite-nice sales and marketing assets assisted by AI

I want to capture some of the silliness and weirdness of my past

Who out there is sharing audacious, ridiculous marketing in the B2B space?

Is there any humour left? #buildinpublic

We're doing $1million ARR with 3 people

But now I am looking for the fourth

I want the marketer that can work alongside me and help take Senja from $1,000,000 -> $2,000,000 ARR

I'm personally working on product and lifecycle marketing

So I want the person that will do customer-centred marketing

Collaborating with partners, educating sign ups, reaching out to dream customers

Where do you find this type of person?

My instinct is that I need to head hunt them and this person won't come to me

* Born in Argentina, with Polish roots, lived in Israel and based in London since 2011.

*Building Dolphin AI 🐬 with Charlie Day. Dolphin is the CX Insights Copilot to make sense of customer feedback at scale. Thinking with long-term vision + Acting with short-term urgency.

* In 2020 I lost all my work, so I moved into the startup world and founded HARKALIVE: an online platform for dance classes - built two products from scratch: a subscription platform & a two-sided marketplace.

* Pre-pandemic: 10+ years experience in the entertainment industry. Founder & Producer @Upstage: production company for events and theatre where I produced 300+ events and 10 theatre productions.

* Succeeded & failed, but always adapted fast.

* I like to compare the role of a Producer to the role of a Product Manager - a glue between different teams and stakeholders, internally and externally, obsessed with customer needs, and business impact.

* Random fact: I teach Israeli Folk Dancing and I'm an award-winning choreographer and instructor.
