SETBACK TO STEPPING STONE 

In 2018, I left the seminary a place where I had dreamed of preaching the Gospel. The sudden change left me frustrated, lost, and unsure of what my future held. For a moment, it felt as if my purpose had vanished. 

But I refused to let despair define me. I picked myself up, returned to school, and committed to learning, growth, and building skills that could open new doors.

During this journey, I discovered the power of focus, resilience, and purposeful action. I honed my public speaking and leadership skills, volunteered to organize events, and learned the value of teamwork and dedication. These experiences prepared me to serve my community effectively.

I founded the Mbano Big Family in 2021, hosted the Mbano Youth Summit impacting over 2,000 youths and In 2024, I was recognized as one of 100 Young Leaders Making an Impact in Nigeria by Dr. Jamie Pajoel University an early acknowledgment that fueled my ambition. 

Since then, and served as a National Health Fellows representing Ehime Mbano LGA, as well as South East Captain for YPAT UNICEF Nigeria Generation Unlimited 9ja.

Today, my vision is clear: to empower youth, inspire leadership, and transform my generation using my talent, skill and voice. 

I am committed to turning setbacks into stepping stones and creating lasting impact.

Becoming a National Health Fellow Gave me more Voice in the LGA

As a National Health Fellow from Ehime Mbano, my journey has been driven by passion for community impact. I worked closely with youth, mothers, and health workers to improve access to quality primary healthcare. 

Through consistent field visits, I highlighted gaps in local health facilities and pushed for better accountability. I organized community sensitization on immunization, hygiene, and maternal health, ensuring more families understood the services available to them. 

Representing Ehime Mbano gave me the platform to speak for my people, connect them to solutions, and contribute to a healthier, more informed community. 

This remains my proudest accomplishment.

I am inviting every well meaning Nigerian who desire to solve problems in their local communities should take the opportunity of becoming the next Health Fellow in there local.
