Hey, I’m Oshri Cohen — Fractional CTO turned full-time tech whisperer.

I’ve spent the last 25 years immersed in engineering, and the last 15 leading brilliant (and sometimes delightfully chaotic) teams as a technical executive. From scrappy startups in healthtech and martech to 350-person research firms and Series C rocket ships, I’ve done it all: scaled orgs, refactored disasters, rescued investor confidence, and shipped things that didn’t catch fire on launch day. Wins all around.

30 companies in 4 years as a Fractional CTO? Yep. That’s not a typo. I embedded myself in each like a method actor in a startup biopic, just without the Oscar, though I’ve definitely made acceptance speeches to my dog. I solved mission-critical problems, rearchitected platforms, hired and levelled up teams, and created product strategies that actually made sense. And money.

At my core, I’m a systems thinker. Whether I’m rebuilding a microservices architecture, designing OKR cascades across dev teams, or explaining to a founder why their dev team is two PRs away from mutiny, I bring clarity, structure, and technical depth without the buzzword bingo.

Tech Stack? I could rattle off a list as long as your LinkedIn scroll: Python, Golang, React, gRPC, Kubernetes, Postgres, DDD, CQRS, EKS, Redis, you name it. But the truth is, I treat tech like tools, not religion. What matters more is why we’re building something and who we’re building it for. And how fast can we deploy without breaking production? Zackary Jackson

As the core maintainer of Webpack and creator of Module Federation, I specialize in JavaScript architecture at scale with a focus on frontend orchestration. My expertise includes React.js, large-scale Webpack build architecture, universal JavaScript, serverside rendering configuration, and LOSA frontend architecture. I am also the inventor of universal SSR and code splitting, as well as a skilled Babel plugin writer.

In addition to my work on Webpack, I am a core maintainer of React Universal, Redux-first-router (Rudy), Respond Framework, and React Static. I have also designed a remote store and fragment caching solution (Rapscallion) for improving performance in containerized micro-frontends by 1000%.

I have contributed heavily to the development of the Fiverr v4 platform and have experience working with codebases of 100+ million lines of code. My technical skills also include expertise in bandwidth optimization and Node.js.

Principal Engineer, Director

As the lead JavaScript engineer, I am responsible for overseeing all JavaScript engineering efforts. I have designed a next-generation micro-frontend platform that is capable of sustained scalability and improved performance. This platform utilizes a Module Federation-driven architecture with self-healing redundancy at runtime, allowing multiple servers and applications to work together as one while enabling independent, uncoordinated deployments.

I have also invented and implemented Module Federation into the Webpack 5 core, which has become one of Webpack's flagship features. This contribution was made in support of lululemon's architectural needs and has significantly improved the company's use of open-source technology. In addition, I have spearheaded the development of open-source guidelines and policies to refine lululemon's stance on open-source.

Through my custom web performance technology, I have helped increase lululemon's revenue by over $100 million per year. My expertise in micro frontend architecture and module federation has enabled me to create solutions that operate like monoliths at runtime, while sharing common vendor and feature code between multiple apps.
