If you sell on Amazon and are building your 2026 plan now, here’s a lever many $ 1M–$15 M brands overlook.

At GNO Partners, we advise 300+ Amazon brands and are currently building many annual plans.

One of the most common mistakes I see: sellers don’t plan to hire an experienced VA.

An experienced VA is an easy way to add leverage to your 2026 plan, with high upside.

Before I exited my two brands, we had a 13-person VA team running them.

This brand did $350k in Nov+Dec 2024 with a 1% margin. We turned it into $530k and $88k profit 1 year later. That’s how.

After working with 700+ Amazon brands over the last 4 years, I see this situation too often.

This brand was a beast during COVID.

Post-COVID, it kept getting crushed with high YoY decline.

They contacted GNO Partners and showed us the numbers.

Sales were OK, Nov + Dec 2024; they did ±$350k in revenue. But with a 1-2% margin.

That means one thing: the P&L is getting eaten alive somewhere. Usually, it’s PPC.

In this case, the owner had an agency running ads.

But he wasn’t strong enough in PPC to even see how bad it was, so it kept running…

Once he joined, we focused on installing our PPC system. 

10 core reports we use regularly to spot opportunities and make decisions weekly.

Results (YoY, Nov + Dec combined)

• Sales: $353k → $530k (+50%)
• Profit: $5.7k → $88.3k (~15.5x)

Same brand. Same seasonality. Better PPC execution.

One tactic that improved him you can test as well:

• Cut 50%-70% of branded keyword spend (in one day)
• Watch what happens to: total sales, TACOS, and total profit
• In 85% of the cases, sales barely move, and profit jumps.

Not every account is identical, so test carefully, but do not ignore it.
