Hey! I’m Janis Ozolins

End of 2016, by a lucky accident, I found a new dream for myself. Make a living online.

4 years later (a time filled with learning, failed experiments, and consumed content), still no revenue or audience.

Then I stumbled into the idea of communicating through visuals. I loved it and pursued it seriously.

6 months later, I felt momentum and left my corporate job. 1 year later, my visuals brought in more money than I made in my 9-5.

My dream to make a living online was complete. I’m feeling very grateful writing this.

Now I spend my time learning, creating, and teaching.

Airwave System Engineer

The role covers 2nd and aspects of 3rd line repairs of Lancs hardware. Workstation, Laptops, Radios, MDT's, PDA 's are some of the equipment that is covered.
Imaging and Desktop Rollout, Software Configurations, problem resolution and Encryption.
Small scale project management of department relocation and support of large projects.

ICT Client Support

This role was a secondment to provide support to an increase of front line police equipment. The mobile devices were PDAs for officer to hand out tickets and to keep live logs of nominals. The second device was an in vehicle device called and MDT, which gave the officer the ability 2 connect to the Police National Computer PNC.
My role was to manage the user accounts of all the officers using the equipment, provide user training for the officers, technical liaison to the 3rd party companies that were involved and also repair faulty equipment.
As this was also a project i produced and delivered statistical analysis of usage and reliability to SMT and Divisional Commanders.
