- Time spent with the Senior Producer during filming to experience life 'on set' as the scripts come to life. 

- Time spent with post-production to see the edit process.

- Script edited my own episode(6564) and assisted all production staff on continuity and filming.

• In conjunction with the Story Producer, arranging all elements of Long Term story conferences and regular serial meetings as required. This includes complex diary coordination with internal and external attendees. 

• Pitching ideas at weekly story conferences

• Fully minuting story conferences and accurately transcribing within a short timescale

• Maintaining constantly changing diaries, organizing and scheduling meetings and conferences, and associated information as appropriate

• Prioritizing all incoming correspondence, written and telephoned queries, from both internal and 
  external sources, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained.

• Drafting correspondence effectively, exercising initiative in responding independently to day-to-day email and administration

• Taking accurate minutes at Editorial/Production meetings and distributing accordingly

• Being responsible for introducing new members of the Department to all other staff

• Managing and updating the Archive

• Compiling material for story conferences, including but not limited to, story material, clips of new characters’ material, and character photographs as necessary

• In conjunction with the Series Story Scheduler, monitoring artist usage over the individual contractual periods

• Managing workload effectively and assessing priorities to meet conflicting deadlines, often at short notice and under pressure

• Ordering hospitality as required, whilst being aware of the full extent of the financial and purchasing authority of the post and ensure that this authority is being exercised in accordance with policy and the BBC financial agreements

-Working as a Script Supervisor on a short BFI film - 'Results Day'.
-Attended editorial meetings and helped edit the script.
- Produced continuity reports.
- Worked closely with the costume and design team to ensure continuity throughout each shot.
- Oversaw continuity of sound.
- Main point of contact for all departments. 
- Assisted the director/writer with character lines. 
- Reminded the cast of their lines when forgotten. 
- Ran through lines with the cast.

Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, I worked as a Parliamentary Assistant in an MP’s office, serving the community and constituents of Walsall North.

In this role, I successfully : 

•	Contributed to running the office amid the onset of the COVID-19 lockdown
•	Researched and gathered vital information to assist with case resolution and policy
•	Handled more than 400 cases; drafting informative responses to constituent queries
•	Followed up political communications via social media accounts and written reports
•	Communicated clearly, signposting constituents to the right person to help them

Parliamentary Caseworker

In my part-time role at Joules, my priority was to lead all social media and marketing output on behalf of the store. In addition I successfully :

•	Provided business financial figures and set team goals to meet and exceed daily targets. 
•	Won repeat business through consistent, high-quality customer service
•	Trained and mentored new and existing members of staff up to business standard.

Of my numerous achievements in this role, consistently being the in-house Sales Associate with the best sales data is the one that I am most proud of, not least because it highlights my dedication to serving others and getting impressive results by doing so. 

I also raised the most charity money to donate based on Acts of Kindness Day. As someone who is actively involved with several charities, including NSPCC and Cancer Research UK, this meant a great deal to me.

During my time at university, I oversaw the production of a documentary focusing on Guadeloupean culture.  

On location in Guadeloupe, I successfully managed my team, carried out crucial research within the local community, arranged filming and interview dates, filmed and created content, oversaw the sound editing process and organised the consent for legal documents which allowed us to film.

I am extremely proud of this project. It gave me a unique opportunity to provide a platform and a voice for communities which would have otherwise maybe not have had the chance to do so.

I have worked on some of the most renown shows in the UK; Coronation Street,EastEnders,BBC Doctors and a short BFI film called 'Results Day', I strive to make a difference. A creative writer with a passion for storytelling, I love to bring real-life issues into fictional drama. 

In addition, I am a Podcast Host/Presenter on a show that I produce titled 'Ponder On That With Saffron King'. I interview inspirational individuals and renown creatives in the television and music industry whereby we share words of inspiration to the viewers and listeners on YouTube,Spotify and Apple.
