The main objective is to generate representative random samples (of an unknown population) of International Standard Recording Codes (ISRC), which uniquely identify recording works, and generate metrics that represent the typical song in that population. One example is Spotify's popularity index, a random sample of tracks would allow the estimation of the popularity of songs in a given population.
