TIP is doing great work in the RAN with Open RAN and across all network areas: from Open optical transport, Open Wi-Fi, and Open core. 

As the TIP's CMO, I oversee the TIP's overall marketing strategy, from planning, developing, and executing TIP's marketing, product marketing, and advertising initiatives.

Initial focus was building the marketing strategy, team, and processes from the ground up in the first six months and executing the first Fyuz event. After building out the foundational marketing programs, my focus was on creating and alignment between technology, membership and sales to execute on marketing campaigns that would become repeatable and predictable from a membership perspective. Yesterday, I had one of those moments that makes you stop and think about your own journey as a part of the UNCW CIE Entrepreneurship Day, a part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

I visited the Economics & Personal Finance and EPF Honors classes at John T Hoggard High School, and spent the morning talking to students about life, work, ambition — and what it actually means to build something from scratch.

Their energy, their questions, their curiosity reminded me why I became an entrepreneur in the first place.

I shared where I started, what I learned the messy way, and how none of my path was linear or perfect.
 
And my hope — truly — was that even one student could look at me and think:
 “If she did it, maybe I can too.”

I didn’t give them the Instagram version of entrepreneurship.
I gave them the real one.
The version I am living.

Here are the lessons I shared:
1️⃣ Hustle is not a personality trait — it’s survival.
 I told them how many times I had to push when I was tired, scared, or unsure.
 How momentum is built one unglamorous day at a time.

2️⃣ Know your value even before anyone else sees it.
Especially when you’re young, or different, or underestimated.
Your value doesn’t come from a title — it comes from what you’re willing to grow into.

3️⃣ Hard work still wins.
 It’s not sexy, but it’s true.
 It’s the thing that carried me from “no one knows my name” to executive roles, patents, and now, founder life.

4️⃣ Surround yourself with people who cheer for you — loudly.
 Life is too short for dream-killers.
 I told them how my entire path shifted when I stopped listening to people who didn’t believe in me, and started listening to people who did.

5️⃣ Karma is real. Help people. 
 Not for credit.
 Not for leverage.
 Because generosity builds long-term opportunity in ways you can’t predict.
The room was full of big ideas and great questions.

At that age, I had no one come into my classroom and say, “You can build your own path.”
So I wanted to be that voice for them.

If even one student walked out today feeling a spark of “why not me?”
Then it was worth every second.

This quote has always guided how I live and lead.
Because giving — 
time, 
advice, 
introductions, 
encouragement — has never once made me poorer.

It’s made me richer in 
experience, 
community, 
and connection.

But lately, I’ve been reminded of the other side of that truth.

Relationships are like banks.

You make deposits — 
time, 
introductions, 
support, 
kindness.

You help people when they need it. 
You show up. 
You share your network, 
your energy, 
your name.

You invest through your actions — 
mentoring, 
supporting, 
listening, 
helping people when they need a hand.

And when you care deeply, you don’t keep score.
You give because it feels right. 
Because you believe in people.
You think, “If I ever need help one day, they’ll be there too.”

But sometimes — they’re not.
You reach out for a small favor —
“Could you make an intro?”
“Could you share this?”
“Could you take a look?”

And suddenly, that relationship you thought had value… feels like an overdrawn account.

No reply.
No follow-up.
Just silence.

It’s like walking into a bank during the Great Depression — realizing that all your deposits, all that goodwill, are gone.

That’s what surprises me — how easily some people forget.
They’ll DM asking for help, but when you ask, it’s “Oh, I’m too busy” or “Let me see” (and they never do).

And you’re left wondering — how did we get here?
That’s the part that stings.

Not the no — but the forgetting.

The people who were happy to take your time, 
your energy, 
your connections — and disappeared the moment the roles reversed.

And yet — I still believe in giving.
Because I’d rather be the person who over-gives than the one who always takes.

But over time, you learn a harder lesson — to give where it’s valued.

To stop pouring into accounts that never accrue interest.

So if someone messages you today asking for an introduction, 
a reference, or a favor — pause.

Ask yourself: Have they ever made a deposit into my bank?

And if the answer is no — maybe it’s time to protect your balance.

Because the real wealth in life isn’t built through constant withdrawals.

It’s built through relationships where generosity flows both ways.

Anne Frank was right — giving doesn’t make you poor.

But giving endlessly to those who never give back… can drain your spirit.

And this one-sided giving leaves you tired — and wiser.

So give — but give wisely.
Keep giving. 
But give where deposits are appreciated.

And if you ever wonder who deserves your generosity — 
look for the ones who would do the same for you, even when no one’s watching. ❤️

What’s one “relationship deposit” you’ll make today — without expecting anything back?

Today, everyone’s talking about Anthropic’s $50 billion AI data-center announcement.

Texas. New York. 800 jobs. 2,400 construction roles. “Coming online in 2026.”

But here’s what no one’s asking: where are the permits?
Where’s the power?
And how exactly do you build multi-billion-dollar campuses in less than 14 months when even transformer delivery can take 18?

Newspapers love the headline, but few checked the ground truth.
No quotes from state reps.
No county filings.
No grid interconnect numbers from ERCOT or NYISO.
Just “Texas and New York.”
That’s not a plan — that’s a PowerPoint.

Texas makes sense — cheap land, abundant energy, flexible zoning.
But New York?
That’s one of the most expensive and regulated markets in the country.
So is it about latency to enterprise clients? Access to R&D talent? Redundancy?
Or just a way to sound “national”?

Then there’s the shout-out to the Trump administration’s AI Action Plan.
That’s not ideology — it’s regulatory grease.
It tells Washington: we’re on-shore, job-creating, and aligned with domestic AI leadership.
Smart signal. But signals don’t light up GPUs.

Everyone calls this a “dual strategy.”
I call it compute theater until the dirt moves, the megawatts are contracted, and the first racks are humming.
Because owning infrastructure only matters if you actually build it — not just announce it.

Data-center reality check: permitting can take 6–12 months, interconnect queues even longer.
2026 is two months away.

So, unless bulldozers are already rolling in Texas and transformers are en route, this looks more like positioning than progress.

What I’ll be watching:
who files permits, 
who secures power, 
who wins the EPC contract, and when the first rack is energized.
 
Until then — $50 billion or not — it’s still words and a clever PR, not watts.

This is a profound architectural shift.
For decades, business systems relied on deterministic workflows — precise, rule-based instructions.
