I basically scale ambitious Danish brands with awesome content, while saving them sh*t tons of TIME + MONEY in the process.

But let me tell you how I got here: 

After 10 years shooting content for global brands, I noticed something STRANGE happening in the content world..

Ever since I watched Roger Federer lift the Wimbledon trophy in 2003 I wanted to become a professional tennis player. Now, a few years later, I can conclude that tennis has brought me more than any trophy ever could.

I moved from Amsterdam to the United States to play college tennis and earn a degree in Entrepreneurship and Management. However, a career-threatening injury changed my perspective completely. My dream of becoming a pro tennis player was in jeopardy and I started to actively think about a career in business. 

As I refused to give up I was able to return on court, but also expanded my horizon outside of it. I combined my commitments as team captain with various extracurricular activities, while achieving great success on court and in the classroom. I finished my tennis career with a bang: leading my team to its first NCAA appearance in 21 years. 

I graduated in May 2019 with a double BS in Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Utah upon which I started as a Content Analyst at Google via Vaco in San Francisco. During that time, I optimised ads for live release on the Google Search Engine, specifically for Dutch customers.

During the pandemic I moved to Denmark and started my Master’s degree in Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Copenhagen Business School. During the first class we were asked to pitch business ideas. It was during this class that my now co-founder Peter pitched the idea for a way to eliminate the sweat stain you get from wearing your backpack. Fast forward 2 years later and we are now a team of 4 co-founders about to officially launch our product!

While studying, I started working in Software Sales at Clerk.io. First, as BDR and shortly after as BDR Team Leader for the Dutch market consisting of 10 employees. Later on I moved into the role of Customer Success Manager, managing a portfolio of 100+ Dutch and Belgian clients.

Currently, I am an Account Executive for the Benelux markets at Pleo, helping the company become the go-to spending solution in the Benelux!

It’s been just a month and a half since I started building Moxso’s Dutch market, and things are moving fast.

This week, Thomas Korver, Thomas van den Akker, and Kyra Hendriks are joining the team, our very own Dutch SDR crew dedicated to the Netherlands.

Building a new market is never a solo act. It’s messy, exciting, and full of learning, but having the right people around makes all the difference.

Can’t wait to hear Dutch on the sales floor again.
And maybe, finally, stop being the only one getting strange looks for using for our g-sounds in words like “gegevensbescherming.”

Sales & Growth @ Moxso / Community Builder @ Show Up Copenhagen | Protecting companies from cyber threats by day, building a thriving community at sunrise

It started with two friends, a sunrise, and the simple need to pause for a moment.

Before there was Show Up Copenhagen, there was just me and my friend Adam Rossi doing something for ourselves. Early mornings, movement, and a bit of stillness before the day began.

It started small. No big plans, no community. Just two friends trying to slow down in a fast city.

Then others began joining. One friend brought another, and suddenly it wasn’t just my thing anymore, it was our thing.

Adam had crossed paths with Jake Wright, who had started Show Up on the beaches of Barcelona. We hopped on a call, shared our story, and before we knew it, we were building Show Up Copenhagen together.

That was two years ago.
Today, with Maz Katinas, Anca Ungurean, and myself leading the way, Show Up Copenhagen has grown into a community that’s still built on the same simple idea: movement, breath, and connection.

The water’s colder here, but the energy is just as warm.
And we’re only getting started.

This week I got to review the Dutch videos we’ve been creating for Moxso.
Which led to this moment: me, wearing headphones, pointing at… me.

Scripts.
Real examples.
A few too many retakes.
Subtitles exposing every tiny mistake.

And then the playback.
Every pause.
Every gesture.
Every dramatic “pas goed op jezelf.”

But seeing it all come together makes it worth it.
Because localisation isn’t just translation.
It’s making cybersecurity feel familiar, human and relevant for the Dutch market.

We weren’t even apart that long, and somehow we already ended up in the same office again.

New company, fresh energy, same nonsense with Jason.

And since he’s the founder of one black shirt, us showing up like a two-man boyband was basically written in the stars.

Let’s be honest, Jason said “wear black,” and I didn’t ask questions.

Supporting friends who build something of their own is easy.
Especially when their entire brand requires absolutely zero effort from my wardrobe.

Why I keep showing up 🌅 🧘‍♂️ 

People see the sunrises, the calm water, the cargo bike with the Show Up sticker parked by the pier. What they don’t see is how hard it is to build a community that feels real. 

Show Up Copenhagen started as something I needed myself.
A space to move, breathe, connect and slow down before the world speeds up.

Some weeks, keeping it alive feels easy.
Other weeks, it feels like pushing a boulder uphill in the dark.

There are mornings you’re tired.
Mornings you wonder if people will come.
Mornings you question why you’re doing it at all.
Mornings where you’re not even sure you’re showing up for the right reasons.

And then someone arrives and tells you they needed this.
Or you see two strangers become friends.
Or you feel your own mind finally settle for the first time that week.

That’s what keeps me going.
Because I need this community just as much as the people who attend.
It keeps me grounded.
It keeps me connected.
It keeps me human.

Two years in, Show Up Copenhagen is still built on the same simple idea.
Come as you are, coffee, cold hands and all.

I’m proud of what we’re building, even on the hard weeks.
Especially on the hard weeks.

P.S. Yes, the cargo bike is basically our unofficial support vehicle. 🚲

That’s the kind of speed I love.
