And if my time as a Content Strategist taught me anything, it’s that standing out in a crowded industry isn’t just about being seen, it’s about having the right strategy that delivers value and drives results.

When I started the blog, it had no significant online presence. Within three months, I grew its following from 0 to over 1,300 at a time when growing a following was difficult. 

Over the next 15 months, my strategies not only brought in new audiences, but also increased customer retention by 73%. How? By writing and publishing SEO-optimized articles that resonated with its target audience. These weren’t just articles, they were the result of carefully crafted strategies backed by extensive research.

When the world hit pause during the pandemic, businesses had to adapt fast, and I working to help a brand not just stay afloat but actually grow.

As a Marketing Strategist, I implemented strategies that helped grow the customer base by 80% within a year. The key was understanding what the audience needed and meeting them where they were: online. During the height of Covid-19, I helped double sales in just five days by creating and executing social media campaigns that kept the brand visible and connected with customers; despite it being one of the most challenging periods for businesses.

A big part of this success came from creating consistent, engaging content. I managed everything from writing posts to designing graphics like banners, product labels, and Instagram highlight covers. By keeping the brand’s voice strong and consistent, I grew its follower count from 700 to over 2,000 and maintained a solid online presence.

But it wasn’t just about posting content, it was about building relationships with the audience. I responded to comments, engaged with followers, collaborated with influencers, and ensured that every interaction strengthened the brand’s relationship with its audience.

On the backend, I ran advertising campaigns and tracked their performance, analyzing data to improve strategies and results. Beyond social media, I managed the content for the brand’s e-commerce site, from product descriptions to terms and conditions, ensuring the customer experience was seamless and clear.

This role taught me how to navigate challenges, think on my feet, deliver results, and keep a brand moving forward; even when the world around us was changing so rapidly.
