- Design / Research lead for the discovery of a digital prescription concept that was used within the NHS App and in third party apps. 
- Design lead for clinical and data products working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Facilitated numerous co-creation and design thinking workshops, design sprints and profession away days.
- Hosted the ‘Design for Voice’ workshop as part of Leeds Digital Festival 2019.

- Implemented Lean UX methodologies as part of the discovery and product design process.
- Established fortnightly user research as standard.
- Persuaded the business to install a £30,000 user research lab.
- Led a team of experience designers.

Produced HTML/CSS and Flash content for the Rollercoaster (kids) section of the site. Projects included actionscripting for Cartoon games and creating a media player in Flash.

Responsible for the design of all on and offline media, including website, company logo and business cards. Acted as usability consultant for the company’s software development team, advising on UI and user experience issues.

Working with many large international clients, created and maintained several high profile content managed web sites. Also created company style guidelines and rich media advertising campaigns.

I have been a multidisciplinary designer & researcher for over 20 years. I have led teams to act as human-centred design evangelists. I focus on collecting insight around user needs to filter to all areas of a business. By balancing business objectives and with the needs of the user, I help design better outcomes. 

My work spans diverse challenges and customers. I’ve built and led design / research teams at Sky Bet and Goal, and in my 23 years in this industry I’ve worked with Orange, NHS, EE, ABC and some pretty cool start-ups (that will soon burst on the scene).

• Develop my area by building relationships with existing customers as well as proactively seeking new business

• Dealing with delicate situations within the NHS with regards to patient confidentiality as a lot of time is spent within operating theatres as well as wards and intensive care units

• Performing professional presentations to everyone from Nurses to Chief Executives

• Liaise with Estates & Facilities Managers of individual Hospitals prior to all installs to ensure all H&S protocols are followed

• Work closely with infection control teams prior to installs to verify the systems going in place will pass their assessment

• Design the best layout and configuration for maximum productivity within specific departments within the NHS and private sector

• Use AutoCAD to draw plans for surveyed areas and present subsequent drawings to staff

• Meet with architects and Building Contractors to discuss plans for new hospitals and clinics funded both through PFI and Procure 21

• See projects through from surveying the original area or drawing from architects plans to installation and sign off from the trust

•	Liaising with area manager via a conference call once a week to discuss targets, budgets and how to push the business forward

•	Responsible for administrative work for the store and partly for the other stores in the “area” (11 stores in total) 

•	Managing a stock take team every quarter and auditing on alternate months
