After nearly a decade of teaching and coaching professionals through TESL programs and IELTS preparation, I pivoted into my role as a self-employed Career Storyteller — a title that went far beyond writing resumes and cover letters.

My work helping immigrants and professionals prepare for the Canadian job market laid the foundation for this shift.

I supported clients across industries by crafting resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles that worked together — increasing their chances of landing interviews by 3x.

I combined ATS optimization with strategic storytelling and keyword use, ensuring applications passed screening systems and stood out to hiring managers.

I also offered interview prep to help clients articulate their value with confidence and clarity under pressure.
This role deepened my ability to translate complex career paths into focused, compelling narratives — a skill I carried forward into personal branding.

Helping clients own their stories and secure meaningful opportunities made me realize what I was really doing: building personal brands.

Little did I know that my nearly decade-long career as an English educator would become the foundation for helping founders and service professionals communicate their value with clarity, strategy, and authority.

It started in Toronto with an immersive TESOL program focused on first principles — linguistics, grammar, curriculum design, and delivery.
This taught me to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives — a skill I now use daily with clients.

Afterward, I taught immigrant learners at the TESL Ontario District School Board, sharpening my ability to listen deeply, adapt across cultures, and build trust through language.

Next, I coached professionals preparing for IELTS to communicate with brevity and impact.
I guided them to use language tailored to their industry, helping improve job prospects — laying the foundation for how I now approach brand positioning and audience targeting.

In South Korea, I created a curriculum for elementary learners, developing the ability to craft content that captures attention and makes complex ideas easy to understand — skills I now apply to creating engaging digital content.

Later, I taught middle school students in Guangdong and Shanghai — fast-paced, diverse environments demanding adaptability and cultural awareness.
There, I developed storytelling as a tool to connect, influence, and inspire.

When the pandemic hit, I moved online, designing virtual experiences that kept students engaged and connected — a practice I now translate into digital brand storytelling.

My career has given me:
