After a successful 3.5 years at Agile, I decided it was time to hang my hat up as CEO and step into a more part time advisory board position.  In this position I help to direct the strategic direction of the business.

Agile Analytics is a specialist consulting firm with teams across Australia, Philippines, India, New Zealand, the Mid East and the US, an Azure Analytics Advanced Specialisation Partner and a Microsoft Partner in Digital and App Innovation as well as Data & AI.

As CEO I helped 
- scale the business from a team of 15 people 70 and a mainly Sydney based consultancy to a national consulting practice with teams across NSW, VIC, SA, QLD and NZ
- established an offshore hub in Manila, India and the Mid East to create more options for our customers to use
- shifted the business from a founder led business to a business with a deep talent pool and leadership depth
- scaled the business which was predominately focused initially on BI to new capabilities including Data Engineering, Apps and AI and created new business lines in areas such as managed services helping our customers take better advantage of their investment in the Cloud
- Established relationships with customers across Australia across State and Federal Government, FSI, Retail, Logistics (to name a few). 
- established and took our relationship with Microsoft to the next level focused on a true partnership at scale.  This was no easy feat and took many years of investment

All new #nexxies are special but this one is extra special to me.

When I joined the consulting world, one of the first projects I stepped into was one with Kane.  It was a challenging project with many complex integrations and complex reporting requirements.  Up to that point the project hadn't gone well and we soon hit a make-or-break moment.

Like me, Kane at the time was new to the consulting world and relatively new to the technical domain (having pivoted from his previous role as National Sales Manager).  This is part of what made my work with him so remarkable.

Within a short span of time, he made his mark on that project and we went on to make it such a success it was included as a Microsoft featured news article!  

A lot of that credit goes to Kane.  

That was the start of the journey, within a few years he established himself as an internationally renowned domain expert in Microsoft Power BI which later became Microsoft #Fabric and continues to push the boundary of what's possible as Fabric continues to mature and evolve.

He is a one-of-a-kind operator so when he reached out about joining us - it was a hell yes! 

Long way to say - welcome Kane!  

It's a special moment for me having one of my old team join me on this next journey and I am looking forward to upping our game this second time around and doing some remarkable things!

This one is a special one for me. 

To get a #Specialisation with Microsoft  you need to do MANY things right on top of being audited at the end which is no easy feat to pass. 

Doing it in 5 months from launch is simply unheard of in the partner world and is a testament to our depth and breadth of expertise and capability across Cloud and Data. 

But the thing that makes it so special is how the team all had to come together to make it happen. We had to have an advocate and spokesperson telling our story to the masses (Melinda), we had to find customers who would trust us with their business problems and priorities (Carl), we had to deliver those projects well (Minh, Ram, and Todd), and we had to have someone bringing it all together into something that follows the best practice recommendations of Microsoft (Andrew). 

We may be small by relative standards (for now) but we are a force to be reckoned with.

We are thrilled to share that nexwave has achieved Microsoft’s Analytics on Microsoft Azure specialisation, in less than six months from launch. 

This record time achievement of this specialization in the Microsoft partner ecosystem is unprecedented, and speaks to three things: deep capability and disciplined delivery, a deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and most importantly, the trust our customers place in us.

This achievement builds on our earlier partner milestones and is a clear signal that our data and analytics practice is not only growing fast, but also being validated against Microsoft’s highest benchmarks.
