As Nakisa's General Counsel in the FinTech industry, I was responsible for Nakisa's legal operations from a functional and operational perspective. In this role, I provided legal advice and services with respect to Nakisa's global operations and expansion strategy, complex licensing transactions, complex implementation services, strategic partnerships, cross-border transactions, dispute resolution, pre-litigation and litigation matters, internal governance, M&A, financing, and acquisitions, corporate policies, and compliance. As the head of the legal department, I managed a team of lawyers and support staff, worked on streamlining processes and workflows, and contributed to devising and implementing internal policies and procedures.
