Commsor 🦕

Matcha was created within Commsor to address the challenge of forging meaningful connections within communities. We leverage AI to curate quality matches between members and simplify conversations through calendar integrations and in-app video calls. Through iterative market exploration and close collaboration with community partners, we've built a platform that resonates with users and fosters genuine engagement.

As Matcha's Head of Product, I guide our strategy and vision while working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Design, and Engineering. Beyond product leadership, I’ve focused on streamlining workflows and optimizing operational processes—improving how teams collaborate, enhancing internal tooling, and refining data-driven decision-making across the org. By aligning cross-functional teams and leveraging real-time customer feedback, I’ve helped drive faster feature delivery, improved engagement, and stronger adoption.

Head of Product, Matcha

After a company acquisition, I transitioned into the role of Product Manager and Team Lead. I was involved in onboarding the new team and played a key role in expanding it to a 7-member group—including 4 engineers, 1 designer, and 1 marketer—to drive our Web3 product forward. At a pivotal product offsite, I presented our progress and customer feedback. After thoroughly exploring the Web3 market and eventually sunsetting those efforts, I took the lead on our "Meetsy" product, returning to my passion for building community-focused solutions. I oversaw a comprehensive product revamp to enhance performance and user experience, and collaborated closely with Customer Support/Success to ensure a smooth migration for all customers, including Enterprise clients.

• Team Leadership: Onboarded and expanded a cross-functional team to 7 members.

• Strategic Pivot: Guided the shift to focus on the "Meetsy" product after exploring and sunsetting our Web3 efforts based on customer insights.

• Product Revamp: Led a comprehensive revamp to improve performance and user experience, ensuring a seamless migration for all users.

• Market Expansion: Drove enhancements to broaden our platform's reach into new markets.

Product Manager

In this role, I focused on streamlining processes and building efficient workflows to support our growing community initiatives. I managed key operational systems while also spearheading projects that kept us at the forefront of industry trends.

•Process Optimization: Owned and improved workflows—including Zapier integrations and documentation processes—to enhance team efficiency.

• Project Management: Launched a new Asana workspace to better organize community team projects and managed updates to our Webflow websites for a consistent digital presence.

• Innovative Initiatives: Led a project to explore community innovation in Web3, generating $380K in revenue and positioning us to further explore develop Web3.

Community Operations Manager

As Commsor and Community Club's first dedicated Community Manager, I played a key role in deepening community engagement and expanding our reach. I worked closely with our content and marketing teams to design and execute events that not only strengthened relationships among members but also provided valuable insights to guide our overall strategy.

• Community Growth: Grew the Community Club to 3,000 engaged members.
Event Leadership: Organized and executed the second Community Club Summit, achieving an NPS score above 8.

• Brand Expansion: Contributed to increasing Commsor's industry presence and reach through strategic community initiatives.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered with content and marketing teams to create programs that resonated with our audience.

• Strategic Insights: Leveraged event and engagement data to refine and inform our community engagement strategies.

Community Manager

Starting this role while still in high school, I was responsible for building high-quality lead lists and supporting the sales process. I also worked closely with the founders to organize our inaugural Community Club Summit during the early days of COVID, laying the groundwork for our community-driven initiatives.

• Sales Support: Built targeted lead lists and assisted in the sales process, contributing to early business growth.

• Event Coordination: Helped plan and execute our first virtual Community Club Summit in May 2020, achieving over 1,300 registrations.

• Community Engagement: Transitioned to focus on nurturing our Slack-based Community Club, launching initiatives such as a forum, Talent Network, and mentorship programs that connected community managers and hiring teams.
