Launched in October as a vehicle to bolster Houston’s innovation ecosystem, Houston Exponential (HX) combined three different initiatives: the Mayor’s Technology and Innovation Task Force, the Houston Technology Center, and the Greater Houston Partnership’s Innovation Roundtable. The organization’s three primary goals are to make Houston a top-10 innovation ecosystem, generate $2 billion in venture capital annually, and create 10,000 new technology jobs annually by 2022.

★  Researched target partnerships and cultivated relationships that resulted in 20 strategic C-level B2B Partnership meetings in Silicon Valley within a one-month international business trade mission to support the office of the Mayor of Quebec.

The Expansion Québec network offers flexible commercial implementation solutions to Québec exporters wishing to increase their presence abroad, further structure or consolidate it in specific markets.
 Expansion Québec, which initially relies on the network of 25 business centers of ERAI (Enterprise Rhône-Alpes International) aims by 2015 to open a dozen Quebec business centers, which will complete the offer now aimed at both Rhône-Alpes and Quebec companies, which will bring the combined network to some forty service centers. These new services offer a new option of setting up abroad with a minimum of investment and a maximum of flexibility networks.

★ Managed a core team of seven high-level executives and scientists to organize a three-day scientific conference with 74 speakers, 1300 attendees from 24 countries that led to $XXXK in revenue.

★ Negotiated with local business owners that enabled a reduction of 140K in the budget which made the conference possible.

★ Negotiated a free professional license for Confluence & Jira Software Integration system that enabled 100-percent of the team to work remotely and efficiently that allowed BioBricks to stay in business, operating within a tight budget. 

★ Designed and conducted an online OpenWetWare platform survey study with 300 participants that produced significant improvements in user experience. The platform has become the first vehicle enabling international scientific communities to share and exchange scientific knowledge openly, freely, and efficiently anywhere in the world.

Created five-year financial projections. ★ Organized a two-day scientific conference"‘Compassion, Science and Society’  of 8,000 attendees while managing eight complex programs with up to 400 attendees’ events including Meng-Wu lecture series and featuring New York Times bestselling author  Generated over $XXXK in revenue. Worked in collaboration with the office of the Dean of Stanford of School of Medicine to achieve a successful outcome of the conference. 

★ Influence a key set of prospect donors during the donor cocktail meeting by building rapport and frequent and open communications that significantly contributed to the first $200K in direct donations within a week post-conference.

★ Raised $200K for medical equipment for community hospitals in Palo Alto, CA. Managed a team of volunteers. Project hosted at Google (Google and Stanford University’s Project Respite 2.0).
