Peter Grosskopf is CTO/COO at AllUnity, a joint venture of DWS, Flow Traders and Galaxy Digital that is building an E-Money institute in Germany to issue a MiCAR-compliant EUR-denominated stablecoin in the future to enhance liquidity and efficiency in tokenized markets. He is responsible for technology and for setting up the organization. 

Before, he was co-founder and CTO of Unstoppable Finance GmbH, a Berlin-based company with the mission of bringing decentralized finance applications (DeFi) to the masses. With Iron they planned building the first on-chain bank, which is based on a proprietary blockchain technology called "Iron Chain." Iron Chain addresses the three key issues that regulated companies, in particular, face with public, permissionless blockchains: privacy of account data, compliance, and governance. Previously, Unstoppable developed the self-hosted wallet app Ultimate (https://ultimate.app), which was acquired by the decentralized exchange Jupiter in April 2024. Before that, Peter was CTO and Managing Director of Börse Stuttgart Digital Exchange, the first regulated exchange for digital assets (MTF) in Germany. Prior to that, he was CTO and co-founder of Solarisbank, a fullbank with technology platform to enable Fintechs to go to market. Peter has a background in technology and entrepreneurship. In 2008, he founded a software engineering consulting company focused on digitization projects and grew it to 30 employees profitably. In 2014, he moved to Berlin to join the company builder Hitfoxgroup and Finleap as CTO, with a focus on fintech. He has been fascinated by blockchain and decentralization since the end of 2016, and since then, he has pursued the vision of making decentralized banking a reality.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Peter is a speaker at various industry events, a member of the Digital Advisory Board of the German Ministry of Finance ("Digital Finance Forum"), a contributor in shaping regulation (Crypto Taxation in Germany, TFR, MiCAR, MiCAR Level 2, AMLR, BCBS Standards) in Germany (via Ministry of Finance, Bitkom, private initiatives) and EU (via Blockchain for Europe), a lecturer at IKF Lucerne on Blockchain Technology (CAS), and was a lecturer for two years at FH Münster, teaching subjects such as web engineering, as well as at the Data Science Summer School at Saarland University. As a supervisory board member of 21x, he supports the development of the first marketplace for digital assets under the European DLT Pilot Regime.

Florian Nöll is a seasoned technology executive who re-joined IBM in October 2024 as Executive and Worldwide Director for LinuxONE. With a proven track record in the tech ecosystem, Florian brings a rich history of innovation and leadership to his role. His prior experience at MongoDB, a leader in database technology, equipped him with deep expertise in data management and cloud-native architectures. Earlier in his career, he served as CEO of a leading Swiss cloud provider, where he successfully drove growth and expanded into new verticals.

At IBM, Florian leads strategic initiatives across Data Serving, Secure Computing, Accelerated Computing, and Digital Assets, leveraging LinuxONE’s enterprise-grade performance, resilience, and security. He has been a significant force in IBM’s Digital Asset strategy since 2017, initially contributing to the early development of offerings around private key protection and foundational client relationships. After a successful tenure outside IBM, he returned in 2024 to lead LinuxONE globally. In this role, he built on his earlier contributions by establishing a dedicated Digital Asset team focused on customer success and safeguarding client assets, further strengthening IBM’s position as a trusted partner in this emerging space.

Florian’s Digital Asset initiatives also emphasize collaboration with IBM Research and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), with a particular focus on Stablecoins and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). His work bridges the gap between emerging technologies and enterprise needs, aligning technical innovation with tangible business outcomes.

Under his guidance, LinuxONE has become a strategic enabler for clients in financial services, healthcare, and government, supporting their transformation journeys in hybrid cloud and confidential computing. Florian is widely recognized for his ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation at scale.

Reflecting on 2025, "amazing" feels like an understatement.

It was a year defined by growth, both for the IBM LinuxONE and Linux on Z business and for me personally. From traveling the globe to meet our incredible partners and clients, to collaborating with product management and dev teams on our GTM strategy, every moment was a masterclass in technology and culture.

Between the strategy sessions and the long-haul flights (thank you, Swiss International Air Lines, for keeping me moving and providing the chocolate I promised my kids!), I’ve learned so much about what it takes to lead.

The real highlights weren't just on a spreadsheet:

⇨ We built a high-performing team, clear GTM strategy and welcomed fresh talent
⇨ I leaned deep into continuous learning, from management practices to technical deep dives
⇨ On a personal note, my family welcomed our third boy, a reminder of why we work so hard to build the future

It was also a year of perspective. Saying goodbye to a great colleague reminded me to cherish the brilliant people I get to work with every day.

To my mentors, management and peers: Carlo, Christian, Jose, Alex, Ross m, and Tom, thank you for the guidance. To my team: Rishi, Valeria, Chelsea, Filipe, Vic, Jean-Yves, Simon, Uday, Elçin - you are the heartbeat of this success.

What’s next? 

I’m thrilled to share that I’m transitioning to a new role: Director of ISV and GSI Acceleration for IBM Z and LinuxONE under Meredith.

As we move into 2026, my focus is shifting toward: 

🤝 Building deep, meaningful partnerships
✍️ Creating relevant content and teaching what I’ve learned
🚀 Driving innovation by following my instict.
