"Don't bring me problems, bring me solutions" is a horrible way to lead your team.

It's one classic phrase that leads to another:

"Why didn't anyone raise this before?"

The reason: 
You trained them not to.

Your team may have seen a complex situation unfold.
But if speaking up means they must have the answer, most will stay quiet.

Because they know the situation isn't easy to solve.

A new year is like a new relationship based solely on physical attraction.  
Once that spark fades, the mundane takes over.  

You slip back into old habits. 

Your New Year's resolutions won't make 2026 different from last year. 

Defining a fresh identity will. 

The first CFO I worked for at Citi in London was Bob.

He was criticised for being too distant. 
People said he spent too much time in his office.  
He lacked presence and charisma. 

In fact, some of us had never spoken with him. 

At the start of the new year, he took the feedback on board and publicly committed to becoming more engaged. 

But he didn't go mad. 

He started monthly breakfast meetings with people he didn't know.

He led a cross-department project instead of staying in his silo. 

And something really simple:  

He walked the floor daily and kept his office door open. 

There was no massive overnight transformation. 
Just small things that became significant over time. 

By the end of the year, his team, peers, and boss saw him in a different light. 
He'd built a new leadership identity - not from a list of goals, but from changing how he showed up every day. 

So if you want more impact as a leader in 2026, forget that resolution list (the same one from last year, right?). 

Instead, decide who you want to be this year. 

Then take the small, daily actions that person would take.

It's 8am on Day 1 as CEO of Github.
Nat Friedman gets everyone on a call.

People are expecting the usual new CEO stuff. 
The big vision speech. 
The strategic priorities.

Instead, Nat screen-shares a giant list of 100+ customer complaints.

Every bug. 
Every frustration.

And no threat to anyone above you.

You know the feeling. 

• Your calendar is packed. 
• Your Inbox is close to zero. 
• Your to-do list is under control.

But then you have that Wile E. Coyote moment. 

You glance down...
Your legs are spinning...
But there’s no ground beneath your feet!

Splat!

And all that optimization stuff?

It made you excellent at tasks that don't matter.

• The Pomodoro technique powered you through mails.
• Time blocking stuffed meetings into your calendar.

But none of it achieved anything.

Because the work that actually matters - the 20% that creates 80% of impact - doesn't fit into 25-minute sprints.

Productivity isn't the goal.

Productivity tips may make you faster.
But they won’t make you an effective leader.

6 weeks ago I launched my first group container called The Integration Circle™

I was noticing that so many founders and high performers didn't actually need another program.

They've already worked with coaches and therapist. 
They have already tried meditation, breathwork and ice baths. 
And they've already implemented all the tools and strategies into their life and business.

But underneath it all. 
You still feel unfulfilled. 
You still feel like someting is missing.

And it feels like, no matter what you do.
It's never enough. 

So there is always that constant striving for more. 

And yesterday, I received this feedback from one of my clients:

“Leighton, I joined your container thinking I needed to find a partner.
And now I realise… I don’t need to find anyone.
I think I’ve found me.
The significant other was always me.”

"Now I feel this sense of calm, and creativity that I've never experienced before, I've even set my alarm for 5am tomorrow because I've got a really exciting idea that I just can't wait to play with"

Instead, I stopped avoiding negative emotions. 
I stopped trying to stay strong for the outside world.
And started treating my emotions as a signal for growth.

Once that happened, a few things changed:
❤️ Meditation stopped being a “tool” for me and became an anchor when emotions came up.
❤️ I gained clarity on who I was becoming so I could actually let go of the old identity that was keeping me stuck.
❤️ And instead of “trying things out,” I went all in, and fully backed myself.

So if things aren't working out for you. 
And you find yourself repeating the same old patterns.
Whether thats in business, wealth, health or relationships. 

You don't need to find another system or strategy. 
And your growth won't come from trying harder.

It comes from ending the avoidance.
Recognising the pattern. 
And finally coming back to your true self. 

Until then, no strategy you try will actually stick.

Becuase you're not lacking effort or discipline.

You’re nervous system is just protecting you from feeling what is required for growth.

And protection will always show up as perfectionism or procrastination
Until you finally see it for what it is.

Would you take £100k a year to stop chasing your dream?

In 2022, I left my career, my home, and everything familiar to follow my dream.

The truth is, I didn’t even know what “my dream” was back then.

But I knew what it wasn’t:

🚩 Living life on repeat
🚩 The same 10–15 hour days
🚩 Calls and emails at all hours
🚩 Feeling constant overwhelm
🚩 Doing work I didn’t care about
🚩 Building someone else’s dream

The next 3 years were very messy.

👉 I travelled without a plan
👉 I felt lost, uncertain, and directionless
👉 My business failed over and over again
👉 But I made the best friends of my life
👉 I met the most incredible partner
👉 And slowly… I fell in love with myself

Then March 2025 hit.

⚠️ £17 left in my bank account
⚠️ Less than £1,000/month coming in
⚠️ And I felt completely drained from pushing non-stop

So I had a decision to make.

Go back to London.
Back to corporate.
Back to safety.

Or to fully back myself.

I chose the latter. 

I stepped outside my comfort zone.
Invested into a coaching program. 

And over the next 4 months. 
I 6×’d my income.

Not by working harder.
Not by forcing more.

But by letting go.

❤️ Letting go of pressure.
❤️ Letting go of proving.
❤️ Letting go of chasing.

Today:
➡️ I run a business I genuinely love
➡️ I do it from anywhere in the world
➡️ I generate more income than ever before
➡️ And I work with people and companies I actually believe in

Many of you will be faced with this decision every day.. 

“Do I keep sacrificing my life?”
“Do I give up on a dream life for security?”

Or 

“Do I back myself, and step into the life and version of me that I know is possible?”

Don’t live in regret. 
Keep chasing your dreams.

You just need to trust yourself.

I'm noticing a wave of emotion running through me this morning as we complete the 5-Day Abundance Challenge.

This is the 4th time we’ve run it.
And every time, something magical unfolds.

Before the challenge, one of the members described feeling stressed, overwhelmed and constantly rushed.
🚩 Always thinking
🚩 Always planning
🚩 Always trying to stay one step ahead

During the challenge, she had a huge realisation:
➡️  All the overthinking.
➡️ The constant overplanning.
➡️ The need to control everything.

It wasn’t who she was.
It was how she stayed safe.

Noticing that.
Without judging herself.
Changed everything for her.

Instead of telling herself she was “wrong”
She started asking herself "Why?"

And on the other side of that curiosity came clarity and a sense of empowerment.

Another woman came in with a different intention.

She wanted abundance to feel normal.
Rather than something to chase or prove.

What surprised her during the challenge was realising just how far she’d already come.

And she slowed down enough to actually acknowledge it.

From that place.
Without more effort or force.
Abundance continued to move through her.

✅ A calm knowing of “I don’t need to push this”

Both of them said the same thing about what mattered most:
- The meditations.
- The space to reflect.
- The moments of pausing instead of powering through.

Not to fix themselves.
But to feel what was already there.

- Not hyping people up.
- Not telling them to do more.
- But helping them soften their grip just enough to let life meet them halfway.

Because abundance doesn’t come from trying harder.
It comes when the nervous system relaxes enough to receive.

And when that happens, people don’t just feel better…

Last week, we wrapped up the 4th Abundance Challenge.

And once again, the shifts were subtle, internal, and deeply meaningful.

People don’t come in broken.
They come in holding on so tight.

And when that tension softens.
✅ Clarity returns.
✅ Movement becomes natural.
✅ And life feels lighter, without force.

Abundance doesn’t arrive when you chase it harder.
It arrives when you stop getting in your own way.

That’s the work we do.

I watched an interview recently between Tony Robbins and Alex Hormozi.

I’ve never really resonated with Alex’s way of operating.

Not because he isn’t successful, he clearly is.

But, to me, his version of success seems to come at the cost of enjoyment.

What struck me most in the interview wasn’t what he said about money or business.

It was how openly unhappy he sounded.

And that matters because a lot of people idolise that model.

They assume:
If I just get to that level, I’ll finally feel fulfilled.

But that interview confirmed something I see every week in my work.

Every single person inside The Integration Circle has already achieved some form of success.

✅ Career wins.
✅ Financial stability.
✅ External proof they’re “doing well.”

And yet, when they reached it, something was missing.

🚩 Less joy.
🚩 Less passion.
🚩 Less sense of being fully alive.

Success didn’t solve the internal tension, it amplified it.

That’s why the last 7 weeks inside the integration circle have been so powerful.

Not because people worked harder.
But because they stopped driving themselves from pressure.

Here’s what’s shifted recently:

❤️ C stopped searching for a partner to complete him and found peace and fulfilment within himself.

When I first discovered meditation, I didn’t get the point.

I’d sit down. 
Close my eyes.
And within seconds my mind was running at 100 miles an hour.

Even sitting still for two minutes felt impossible.

But overtime, I learned that Meditation isn’t about clearing your mind.

It’s about changing your state.

Because your state determines everything:
❤️ Focus
❤️ Energy 
❤️ Decisions
❤️ And your results.

So when you practice calm. You build calm.
When you practice peace. You create peace.
When you practice clarity. Life starts to feel clear.

In business, that looks like:
✅  Closing your laptop and actually switching off at the end of the day.
✅  Attracting clients that feel aligned, not forced.
✅  Growing and scaling without the constant chaos.

And meditation isn’t the only way to get there.
❤️ Exercise.
❤️ Breathwork.
❤️ Time in nature.

They all shift you from stress, pressure, and overthinking → 
Into a state of clarity, focus, and flow.

Hard work isn’t about hustling harder.

It’s about doing the small, consistent things.

The problem is that most of you are addicted to the pressure. 
You attach your identity, your value and your worth to being busy. 

So when you think about slowing down. 
Doing less and being more. 

It triggers a survival state. 
Your mind thinks:
- If I slow down, it will all fall apart.
- If I don't keep pushing, I will fall behind. 

So then you keep doing more of the things. 
That keep you in survival and a state of lack.

So instead of creating from calm. 
You create from chaos.

I’ve lived with monks and spent time with yogis who live in a deep state of peace.

That doesn’t mean they’re always smiling.
I once saw a monk shouting at flowers.

At the time, I judged him.
And I remember thinking, “What kind of monk gets angry?”

But the truth is... 
There's no such thing as positive or negative emotions.

Only emotions we’ve been taught to approve of… 
And ones we’ve been taught to suppress.

Our culture doesn’t teach peace.
It teaches emotional performance.
👉 Be happy.
👉 Be grateful.
👉 Be positive.
👉 Be “healed.”

So when anger, sadness or frustration arise.
We think something’s gone wrong.
And that turns into judgment.

Judgement of ourselves and judgement of others.

But peace isn’t the absence of emotion.
Peace is the absence of resistance.

So when we stop fighting what we feel. 
Something shifts:
❤️ We become less reactive.
❤️ We soften towards ourselves.
❤️ We stop trying to control others.
❤️ And life starts to feel safer to be in.

From that place, joy emerges naturally.
➡️ Not forced.
➡️ Not chased.
➡️ Not performed.

So no... happiness is not the goal.

Peace is.

And happiness is what shows up when we finally stop chasing it.

Letting Go
 
I’m taking part in an Abundance Challenge with Leighton Dewitt  Day two was about Release and Receive.
 
I chose to release the fear of speaking my story in public.
 
My thoughts don’t need to keep me safe anymore.  They did their job. I’m grateful. But I’ve moved on.
 
I’ve rewritten my story to match who I am now.
 
I am strong enough to share it, and I already have.  I proved that when I spoke on Scott Radovanovich podcast at Christmas.
 
When I share my story, I give others permission to believe their voice matters too.
 
So now, when my mind tries to take over “for safety,” I simply say:  “Thank you for protecting me, but I’ve got this.”
 
I’m choosing abundance over fear.
 
One of my intentions for 2026 is to share my story publicly.
 
This isn’t about the past defining me.  It’s about using it for a purpose.
