Philipp is a long-time fintech enthusiast and early adopter with a curiosity for innovation in banking and payments.

As Director Financial Services DACH at Signicat, Philipp Angermann is responsible for expanding customer relationships in the German-speaking financial sector. This includes banks, fintechs, and crypto platforms, as well as foreign financial service providers looking to enter the DACH region. 

Prior to Signicat, Philipp worked local German digital identity provider, IDnow.
Having worked with regulated financial institutions in Germany, Luxembourg and Lithuania, he is familiar with European regulatory and money laundering legislation, which has equipped him with a deep understanding of the requirements of IDnow’s customers.

Besides his work at Signicat, he is an enthusiastic investor in early-stage fintech and SaaS startups through his personal holding PA Ventures GmbH.
