After five intense years of running my successful million-dollar design agency, I hit a major roadblock. Burnout didn't just knock on my door—it barged right in and left me bedridden for three days straight. I didn't want to get up or face the world. Lying there, I thought to myself, "Okay, this is enough."

The next day, I made the tough decision to let go of all my employees. I knew I needed a break—a real one—to rethink my priorities and figure out what I truly wanted in life.

It felt like I slammed a giant reset button, letting out a big sigh that carried away years of stress and unspoken worries.

Growing up in France as a shy Asian kid in a mostly Western culture, I often felt like I didn't quite fit in. I was quiet and kept to myself. Design became my safe space—a way to express my creativity without having to say a word. But deep down, I was super ambitious, always juggling side projects and trying to "build something" meaningful.

That constant drive helped me achieve a lot, but it also led me straight into burnout.

As I lay there, I couldn't help but wonder: How does our mind work? How can I bounce back? How can I make sure this never happens again?
Those questions sparked an inward journey—a deep dive into understanding the mind and all its amazing potential. I realised that overcoming burnout wasn't just about resting; it was about transforming my mindset. I learned tools and techniques to not only help me get back but also be a better version of myself—stronger, wiser, and happier.

I believe everyone deserves to know how to utilise their mind to its fullest.

Leading the global in-house integrated agency, Hero Collective, driving strategic brand transformation and end-to-end campaign excellence. 

Spearheaded the global rebrand and implemented the new identity across four global markets, streamlining brand governance and maximising brand salience.

Creative Direction across integrated campaigns and events, including launching the new ‘Employment Solved’ brand platform globally.

Implemented brand and motion design systems for Employment Hero and Swag.

Introduced new production processes and established sprints for the creative team to improve efficiencies for the broader business and drive prioritisation.

Led the relaunch of the brand after seed funding. Focused on strategic positioning and creative direction across the app as well

- Heading up Brand Design in ANZ, working across all integrated campaigns (B2B & B2C) including social, POS, OOH, app, and retail partner platforms. 
- Reimagined Zip’s new point sale presence to stand out in a competitive landscape.
- Brand governance and leadership across Zip’s guidelines, and design systems. 
- Creative strategy and direction across key merchant partner launches including eBay, Uber, Peloton and Qantas.

- Launched the new global ‘fearless’ brand across 8 global markets.
- A key brand ambassador, responsible for continuing to shape the brand and visual design language across marketing and product.
- Created motion & design systems for global teams and partners, championing creative excellence and consistency across global brand roll-out.

Senior Manager, Motion & Design | Brand, Creative & Production

- Responsible for the ideation and creation of motion/video content of B2C and B2B campaigns and initiatives across app, social and retail partner platforms.
- Applied design thinking, animation and visual storytelling expertise across all channels—paid, owned and earned.
- Defined Zip’s Illustration System, including a scalable library of characters and scenarios used by global teams across all comms and platforms.

- Creative Lead, managing in-house creative team in AU and production studio in the Philippines. 
- Delivered pitches and integrated campaigns for the likes of AGL, Pizza Hut, ANZ Bank, Primo, Codan, and Mercer.
