Als BISO binnen de PostNL mailorganisatie is een diverse rol waarin de BISO optreed als bruggenbouwer, kwartiermaker en cybersecurity promotor. De BISO is medeverantwoordelijk voor de implementatie van security policies en control frameworks. Als BISO ligt mijn kracht in mijn nabijheid tot de business van het de mailorganisatie en de vertaalslag te kunnen maken naar cybersecurity als business enabler. 
Verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:
- Security assessments zoals BIA's en risicoanalyses uitvoeren en de opvolging hiervan monitoren.
- Secure development assessments uitvoeren en security requirements bepalen.
- Security awareness activiteiten ontwikkelen en uitvoeren voor uiteenlopende doelgroep zoals, solution consultants, operationele medewerkers en management. 
- Security rapportages samenstellen en maandelijkse cybersecurity updates geven aan BIT MT.

BISO MailNL

Viterra

Traineeship in Viterra’s cybersecurity team. 

Duties entail:
Development of cybersecurity policies and standards and managing a part of the governance and approval process.
Coördinate and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting regarding cybersecurity for senior management. 

The traineeship includes multiple rotations with different disciplines in the security team. 
the first rotation was executed at the cyber defense centre with a focus on gaining knowledge of security incident management, vulnerability management and cloud compliance. 
The second rotation at security in project focussed on security and risk management in (business) projects by performing security assessments throughout the project and included the development and implementation of a security training for projectmanagers.
The third and final rotation is at OT Security with a focus on cyber incident response for the OT assets.

Throughout the traineeship there is an ongoing focus in the further development of soft skills like communication, stakeholder management and leadership.
