Before starting Paramark, I spent the last decade leading growth and marketing teams at fast-growing companies like Dropbox, Pilot, Magento, and BILL.

During that period, we evaluated hundreds of martech tools and, for the most part, were sorely disappointed. Here's why. We found few solutions that could handle the needs of fast-growing marketing teams. They were either incomplete, hard to use, or claiming things that were just flat-out wrong!

This trend is especially true for marketing analytics. Synthesizing and analyzing marketing data to understand effectiveness should be a solved problem. After speaking to hundreds of marketing leaders at some of the fastest growing companies, I was honestly surprised that the truth is far from it. Understanding and communicating the return on marketing investment continues to be one of the top challenges for marketers.

Spearheaded marketing/UX projects through the process of identifying an opportunity, advocating with evidence, managing the project, and measuring improvement. Improvements include an increase in site registration rate by 70% and an improved email automations setup, enabling Relay to ensure segmentation accuracy, increase click and open rates by 100%, and more effectively utilize email to drive first order conversions and retention.

Conducted qualitative research, including phone and in-person interviews and session observation. Wrote, sent, and analyzed surveys. Presented research findings and recommendations to marketing, sales, programming, merchandizing, and executive teams in both PowerPoints and written reports.

I’m a tech entrepreneur, founder of Side Nerd Apps, where I build simple, intuitive software to empower small to midsize buisiness to do big things. With a background in analytics and marketing technology, I’ve consulted for companies like IBM and Synchrony, helping them optimize their strategies and implement cutting-edge data and messaging solutions.

Inspired by my hands-on volunteer work and a passion for social impact, I created Ither in 2023, a text message-based volunteer tracking system designed for people who hate technology. Because the same patent-pending technology can be applied to a diverse range of buisiness problems, Ither became the pioneer product by Side Nerd Apps. 

Side Nerd Apps has built products and integrations for B2B, B2B2B, and B2B2C use cases such as employee engagement, symptom tracking, and lead collection and enrichment.

At Side Nerd Apps, I combine technical expertise with a commitment to serving mission-driven organizations. I’m passionate about making technology accessible, both to end-users those who have been historically sidelined by complex user experience, and buisinesses for whom custom software (including cutting edge AI) is unaffordable.
