Before starting Paramark, I spent the last decade leading growth and marketing teams at fast-growing companies like Dropbox, Pilot, Magento, and BILL.

During that period, we evaluated hundreds of martech tools and, for the most part, were sorely disappointed. Here's why. We found few solutions that could handle the needs of fast-growing marketing teams. They were either incomplete, hard to use, or claiming things that were just flat-out wrong!

This trend is especially true for marketing analytics. Synthesizing and analyzing marketing data to understand effectiveness should be a solved problem. After speaking to hundreds of marketing leaders at some of the fastest growing companies, I was honestly surprised that the truth is far from it. Understanding and communicating the return on marketing investment continues to be one of the top challenges for marketers.

That's why we decided to build Paramark. Our goal is to help fast-growing marketing teams measure and forecast the impact of their investments, unlocking sustainable growth.

• Directly scaled paid media program over 300% since 2016 while helping to increase marketing services growth over 150% since 2015

Manage vendor relationships. agency partnerships and oversee a team of eight digital strategists, creative developers and project managers. Serve as agency lead for inbound marketing, process and project management training as well as website, analytics and reporting management. 

Select Accomplishments:
•	Secured and managed over $500,000 in new business over one year through the newly formed digital practice.
•	Initiated and built agency paid social media division, planning and managing over $200,000 of ad work revenue in one year.
•	Bridged internal gap in digital skills through leading an agency-wide project management training course for employees resulting in an estimated savings of $450,000 annually, by avoiding outsourcing.
•	Overhauled inbound marketing, bringing in HubSpot as a partner selling marketing automation services to clients generating up to 50 additional inbound leads per year equating to $750,000 in additional revenue.

Director of Digital Marketing

Led a cross functional team across design, digital and video to develop and implement creative solutions for our clients. Acted as the account lead on all creative projects within the agency working to build and grow accounts, facilitating feedback between our clients and internal teams and managing scope and budget. Also oversaw new business development and the creation of internal processes across finance, project management and creative management.

Managed all project facets including project plans, budgeting, scheduling, user experience, design, web development and QA for project budgets of up to $500,000 and offshore teams of up to 15. Served as the liaison between the internal project team and federal and information security sector clients. 
Supervised client marketing functions including website launch and rebranding, internal/ external print collateral and a complex, multilingual responsive website built on Drupal content management system. Performed Google Analytics reporting and analysis and assisted internal design team with design and production work.

Select Accomplishment:
•	Streamlined the project planning and QA process by setting up new scheduling and bug tracking software and infrastructure, saving time to allow for additional projects.

Senior Project Manager

AKQA

Oversaw $8 million Verizon Wireless account including brand/user interface and national operations. Managed client relationship, contracts, quality of work, invoicing, budget, scope development, issue escalation and financial reporting to client and C-level executives. Led a 20-member internal team of strategy, user experience, design and web development professionals. Engaged with Moxie, Sapient Nitro and Pace Communications agency teams on Verizon Wireless initiatives.

Select Accomplishments:
•	Launched nationwide retail point-of-sale application resulting in $1,200,000+ of organic growth outside of existing business lines.
•	Collaborated with the brand/UI Team and the user experience group to completely redesign the Verizon brand style guides for OS X, Windows 8 and Android resulting in consistent and modernized branding across all platforms.

Senior Account Executive

Lead project manager on digital and creative projects for Booz Allen Hamilton, Microsoft, Battelle, U.S. Pharmacopeia and Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, overseeing a team of five account managers, designers and videographers. 
Projects included web design and development, corporate video, custom social media properties and campaigns, mobile applications, brand strategy and advertising. Executed operational functions including budgeting, staffing, traffic coordination, business development, software selection and deployment and training. 

Select Accomplishments:
•	Increased revenue by 50%, from $350,000 to $750,000 within first six months. 
•	Grew revenue from $750,000 the first year to over $2 million within two years.
•	Increased profitability by 15% over three years, by transitioning digital and creative budgets from a public relations-focused model to a project-based system. 
•	Led new business web project contract pitch to an AM Law 200 legal client, securing $175,000 of revenue for the digital division, representing 10% of the annual division revenue and a new line of legal client business.
•	Assisted in landing Battelle website redesign contract, contributing $1 million to annual revenue.

Creative Services Manager

Greenfield/Belser Ltd.

Planned, coordinated and managed the development and launch of branding and multimedia-marketing portfolios for 20+ Fortune 500 top ten U.S.-based accounting and AM Law 200 Top 100 law firm accounts. Built client relationships serving as primary liaison between agency and clients’ chief marketing and chief information officers, web developers and designers, production artists and vendors. Guided projects from cradle to grave while ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines and budgets. Integrated social media into client plans.

Select Accomplishments:
•	Improved market appeal for New York City’s prestigious Proskauer Rose, LLC law firm by transforming their archaic image into a contemporary look with stronger appeal to the cosmopolitan market.
•	Conceived and pitched a rebranding portfolio to a California law firm, swaying their decision to a simple website refresh, putting them in a better position to attract lateral state-based growth accounts.

As a first-generation immigrant born in Holland to a Pakastani father, I never took the easy route. 

For ten years, I  worked as a waiter, bartender, and bar manager in the service industry.

It taught me more than I could imagine.

A 14-year veteran of marketing agencies, I've led cross-country video shoots, managed web and app projects, and most recently scaled a digital practice from $0 to $2,000,000 in three years. 

I guess you could call that full-stack 📚?

Working with Enterprise clients like Verizon, Deloitte, and Microsoft to consulting with fast-growth start-ups like IronNet has given me a broad view of what works and what doesn't.

In addition to my client-side experience, I was an agency operations leader with expertise in defining processes, implementing growth strategies, refining delivery and partnerships, and building high-performing teams and tech stacks.

Of all the clients I've worked with, the ones that succeed understand these three fundamentals:
