It’s been one full year since I stepped out of my corporate job.

I still remember the jitters on that day.
No roadmap. No team. Just a belief that AI was going to change the way we work, and I wanted to be part of shaping that change.

Would anyone come? Would anyone pay?

And yet, a year later…

I was working with a group from multiple companies. Instead of the usual demo → practise → Q&A flow, we decided to flip the script. We ran a full Capstone-style live project, just like you would in a real organisation.

For a long time, it looked like Google had lost its rhythm in AI.

2. Then there is nested learning, a concept most people have not fully understood yet.

Most companies would dream of one such dataset. Google has an entire universe.

5.Add to that the ability to push AI updates to billions of users in a single rollout.
This is not a luxury OpenAI enjoys today.

6. And finally, the part everyone forgets.
Google has enormous cash reserves and the ability to invest at a scale that is difficult to compete with.
That kind of firepower buys time, compute, and breakthroughs.

So when people ask me whether Google is “back”, my answer is simple.

Google never left. It was building.
And now we are starting to see the outcome of that patience.

The race is far from over.
But Google looks ready for the long run.
