5. Once agreed on the message and the targeting strategy, I manually start hitting targets with that message with your LinkedIn profile, reaching out to them as you.
6. We talk every week to see what is working and change what is not working.
7. We iterate consistently until we have a 10%+ meeting rate on messages sent and are always having quality meetings likely to turn into revenue or funding.

It's no secret, everyone uses AI. But how do you secure EU funds in a clone war, where all applicants sound the same?
 
To answer that, you, the EU funds specialist, must know how AI changes you.
 
Heard of the "Google Effect 2.0"? Let me explain.  
• The original Google Effect made us forget 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴 because we knew where to find them.  

• The AI effect makes us forget 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 because we know where to get a "reasoned" output.
 
So what is really happening between our ears?
 
Some studies suggest that by delegating complex thinking to AI, we are weakening our brain muscle. 

The more we skip difficult parts of our work, like memorization, synthesizing information, and original writing, the less capable we are of doing it.
 
To make it worse, the internet is flooded with shallow (often incorrect) AI texts, so our perception of what is "deep," "true," and "original" trains our brain on what is acceptable, too.
 
The good news is that a world that worships speed will soon, at first EU funds rejection, start craving "depth."
 
And here is where you can shine. 

I'm not suggesting you shut down AI and start living in the woods. On the contrary, using AI reliably and systematically will keep you speed-relevant.
 
But I do suggest you define how and where you WILL and you WILL NOT use AI.
 
You have to keep practicing the skills that make you special, different, and unique. 

Completely delegating this part of you to AI will rewire your brain (it's lazy and energy efficient) and erode your key expertise.
 
After all, who wants to work with an EU funds expert with "no soul," or an organization where mental sparks are gone?
 
In the end, it's simple: use your brain or lose it.

⭐ Reliable AI for EU grant teams | Evidence-based outputs | Faster drafts

In 2026 I will write only for smart people about important things. (Skip if this is not you.)

As you are a smart EU funds professional, I assume you're already using AI in some way. It's not important how and for what reason, but probably it gets you results faster, and you can get more done.

However, I think you'll notice an important shift in how to use AI for EU grants in 2026. This impulse will not come from various AI influencers and AI gurus. It will come from within.

While you'll keep seeing posts about productivity, AI agents, and prompts, this advice probably won't yield significant returns if you decide to follow them. They are often contradicting, served in abundance that many aren't willing to digest anymore.

As EU funds professional, you'll want to consolidate what you already know. Initial AI adoption already made you faster than ever, so naturally you'll want to go deep. 

If your question is "But why deep if I can do more EU proposals?", you are taking a dangerous path of becoming invisible. AI speed is dressed in "generic" outfit and there are more candidates for EU grants than ever.  

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽.

Going deep requires different AI handling. It's a bit slower, follows verification protocols, gives you time to think, re-think and improve.

Oh yes, you are still faster then non-AI users.

But you'll use AI in a way to protect and even evolve your key competencies, skills, and traits. 

It's no secret that we are delegating a big portion of our thinking to AI. And while AI is getting smarter, we are eroding our deep thinking capacities. Our moral compass, ethics, creativity, empathy and uniqueness get deactivated and this process is fast.

I'll devote 2026 to human-led AI working protocols and systems. So, if you are a smart professional interested about important things we'll meet often. 

And together we'll do a flip that will result in novel, meaningful, AI-augmented thinking and projects.

Your best EU funding idea will be sunk like a rusty ship if your partneship is weak. Don't think novelty will save you. 

Now, AI gives you speed, your grammar is flawless and your message cuts through the noise sharp as a samurai sword.

But, you are not the only one. The highly desired art of clear communication is now accessible as Spanish oranges throughout the year.

So, you need to play smarter.

AI freed some of your time. How will you use it?

• To write 2 more projects?
• To ruthlessly improve existing texts?
• Or you will actually show that you can walk the talk?

Personally, I think AI's biggest gift is giving you time for some analog, good ol' human to human connection.

EU projects are like a marriage. Shorter, for sure, but can be fruitful and passionate, or dull and even frustrating.

For you, this matters, because you  to ensure you'll realize your ambition, grow network, keep sanity. Perhaps you'll even make friends.

For evaluators, it matters because they need to feel assured you'll not waste taxpayers' money, you will contribute to EU policies and a better world. 

So, if you want them to bet on you, show you can walk far because you are in a competent company.
