As the Chief Executive Officer with AIM WA, my overarching responsibility lies in the development and execution of the AIM WA strategic plan, namely, that of maintaining its position as an educational trailblazer in the areas of leadership, management, and workplace excellence. Additionally, my focus is geared towards managing the internal and external operations of AIM WA, as well as consistently delivering high level advice to our wider Board around policy and planning.

I am a former academic turned social trends and workplace specialist, Board director, keynote speaker, newspaper columnist, and most importantly, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia (AIM WA).

My passion is inspiring better workplaces.  I like to ignite discussions around workplace themes and topics, and I use my column in Perth’s The Sunday Times – called “Workplace Matters” – to get conversations started right here on LinkedIn.

I also have an interest in what’s trending in our non-work lives too, so you’ll see that I post pieces on here about various social affairs topics.

Ellivate Consulting was founded in 2018 with the mission to help businesses scale fast.

Chris and the team help organisations enhance performance through using their 12 step framework which focuses on 4 key areas.

These include performing greater through productivity, measuring and motivating the team, scaling operations through systems and recruitment, and growing a talented, high performing team.

This framework ensures the right processes, systems and tools are put in place to produce a high performing go to market function, team coherence, highly trained staff and actionable decision-making.

With over 20 years of senior executive experience across 20 different industries, today Chris is passionate about using his expertise to partner with organizations to build out operations that improve customer experience.

Since launching in 2018, one of his biggest achievements has been rolling out a service framework to over 200 managers and 2000 staff resulting in a combined  15% improvement in customer satisfaction and coaching capability scores.

As the founder, Chris provides consulting, coaching and advisory for scaling SaaS organisations whilst driving the strategic direction of Ellivate.

ansarada was founded in 2005 with the mission to transform opportunities into outcomes for millions of businesses worldwide.

As a global B2B SaaS company, their AI-powered intelligent information platforms enable businesses to know, raise and realize their potential in the market and make confident business decisions.

Including features such as virtual data rooms, security and compliance, cloud software and integrations, dashboards and reporting and AI insights and automation.

Through this platform, ansarada supports organisations across corporate transactions, portfolio and assessment management, tender life-cycle management and governance risk and compliance.

Across their 15 years in business, the company has won multiple awards including the Top 50 Employer, Great Places to Work and Deloitte Fast 50 Company.

As COO, Chris led the Global Sales, Client Service and Performance & Operations teams and was responsible for driving sales performance and servicing customer needs.

After 2 years and with a wealth of knowledge and experience behind him, Chris ventured out on his own to launch Ellivate Consulting in 2018.

Chief Operating Officer

BankWest

Bankwest was founded in 1895 with the mission to transform banking across Australia.

For over 120 years, the company has been servicing Australians with home loans and personal loans, credit cards and account management.

They are dedicated to providing the secure, reliable and frictionless banking relationship that customers look for.

Aside from supporting their customers, Bankwest also partners with Beyond Blue, Red Cross Blood Service and Telethon, as well as provide community groups with grants up to $1000 through their Easy Grants program. 

Joining the company in 2007, Chris was headhunted from the UK to be part of the branch expansion of Bankwest in the east coast of Australia.

With some of his biggest achievements including the creation of the multi-channel campaign for Bankwest Business to drive sales leads and generated upwards of 8 figures in sales.

As well as the development of a new sales service and best practice framework called PLUS that was used across all Bankwest Business Divisions.

As the COO, Chris led over 100 sales professionals and was responsible for sales development, customer satisfaction, communications, and training.

HBOS

Halifax was founded in 1853 with a mission to find ways to make banking simple and give support to customers when they need it.

In business for over 160 years, today Halifax is recognised as one of the UK’s leading banking organisations.

With a choice of investing, loans, car finance, mortgages, insurance and travel services, Halifax consistently continues to reinvent their servicescape to keep up with the unique needs of the modern day consumer.

Joining the company in 1997 as a graduate trainee, Chris quickly worked his way up to becoming the Training Manager where he developed training material for the Halifax store network.

Followed by becoming the Regional Sales Manager, Project Development Manager, Strategy Manager and finally the Head of Sales Operations.

Within his later years he designed and delivered strategic plans to distribute retail products to the HBOS customer base and developed new sales tools and operating models to support branches.

As the Head of Sales Operations, Chris was responsible for the delivery of sales strategy and operational performance of over 100 new branches opening with the branch network.
