As the Chief Executive Officer with AIM WA, my overarching responsibility lies in the development and execution of the AIM WA strategic plan, namely, that of maintaining its position as an educational trailblazer in the areas of leadership, management, and workplace excellence. Additionally, my focus is geared towards managing the internal and external operations of AIM WA, as well as consistently delivering high level advice to our wider Board around policy and planning.

I am a former academic turned social trends and workplace specialist, Board director, keynote speaker, newspaper columnist, and most importantly, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia (AIM WA).

My passion is inspiring better workplaces.  I like to ignite discussions around workplace themes and topics, and I use my column in Perth’s The Sunday Times – called “Workplace Matters” – to get conversations started right here on LinkedIn.

I also have an interest in what’s trending in our non-work lives too, so you’ll see that I post pieces on here about various social affairs topics.

I started Weatherology in 1987 while serving as morning meteorologist at KARE 11 in Minneapolis. 

I also worked at KMSP TV in Minneapolis where I won several Emmy Awards for science programming.  

I developed a passion for keeping people in local communities informed during critical weather situations which evolved into a flourishing business.  

Weatherology focuses on disseminating weather information to local radio stations.  By 2024 that list of stations will exceed 1,900!  

We are now the world 🌎 leader in audio weather dissemination.

We’ve also launched a fabulous new mobile app that includes personalized audio with real meteorologists tailored for your location.

I hold the prestigious AMS Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society.

Named LinkedIn top 🔝 250 most impactful people in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

I’ve recently embarked on an personal journey to help people improve their quality of life.  Anatomy of Success is dedicated to teaching people how to define success on their terms and live the abundant life we all desire.

I started Weatherology in 1987, known at the time as the Weather Eye Radio Network, after receiving degrees in Business and meteorology. I attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
