Led team responsible for managing the Rides business in AL, AR, FL, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, OK, and TX. Increased regional profitability by developing new product offerings and strategies to accelerate top line growth (premium products, add-ons, pricing strategies), while continuously identifying cost reduction opportunities and acting to address them.

Senior Manager, Head of Gulf Coast Rides

Designed, built, and launched Uber's driver loyalty program, Uber Pro, improving retention and platform efficiency via effective segmentation and meaningful rewards, including free college tuition programs. Designed and executed additional programs to develop deeper relationships with key driver segments and solicit impactful product and program feedback from drivers.

Designed, managed, and executed Uber’s internal process to bring to life a "180 Days of Change" campaign, delivering 38 new driver-facing features and improvements including in-app tipping, paid wait time, and 24/7 phone support.

US & Canada Product Operations & Strategy

Drove sustained, rapid growth in the DC market, managing as many as 20 direct reports. Launched and refined uberPOOL in Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Built the POOL pricing model, led product testing, and developed playbook to continue scaling POOL to additional markets.

Help a Chinese unicorn grow globally. Airwallex makes money borderless through global banking solutions, financial infrastructure, and software products.

I lead a team of senior Product Managers across multiple teams:
- Integrations & Product Partnerships: built a platform to connect Airwallex with broader SaaS ecosystem including accounting (Xero, Netsuite, Quickbooks, Sage, etc.), e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, etc.), business operations (Lingxing, Hubspot, Zapier, Hubstudio, etc.), HR information systems, and other key enablers of business process automation
- Growth: built Marketing Tech suite enable our global marketing teams to drive growth across the funnel; responsible for the corporate website (Airwallex.com), building in-app upsells framework, i18n / l10n stack for global markets expansion, workflow automation for promotional campaigns, and A/B testing framework
- Financial Operating System: helping businesses streamline their financial operations with an integrated software and banking suite. Led efforts around multi-entity SaaS experiences for spend management, and SSO capability.
- Capital: built platform for third party lenders to offer capital to Airwallex customers with robust data exchange and risk controls; led customer research and product design for Airwallex's first party credit card product

Facebook

Building products to help SMBs in APAC come online and grow their real-world business outcomes, and supporting the China ads reseller business. Part of APAC product & tech leadership team.

- Founding PM for the O2O team. Built innovative commerce products including restaurant discovery tab on Facebook, native food ordering on Facebook, loyalty cards for local businesses on Facebook, QR code digital menus & ads on Facebook, and restaurant menus on Instagram. Drove significant growth in Business Value Index for Facebook (measuring people <> business interactions), including ownership over a key component (Restaurant Menu Views).
- Founding PM for the Next Billion Users Business & Advertiser Growth team focused on emerging markets. Grew Business Value Index (highest impact team across the company) as well as Active Advertiser growth by shipping consumer news feed & search improvements, localized experiences for free SMB tools (Messaging and Pages), Click to Whatsapp ads, and improvements to ads payments experience across Facebook and FBLite. As part of COVID response, launched gift cards and microloans for SMBs in India.
- Lead a team supporting Facebook advertisers in China by building tools for resellers, who deliver US$X billion in annual revenue / XX% of overall company revenue.

Responsible for all product strategy and execution in APAC markets with ownership over product experience in Southeast Asia, Greater China, North Asia, and ANZ. Worked cross-functionally to conceptualize and ship features for the region across product teams. Built and led team of regional UX researchers and product analysts across APAC markets. Partner to regional leadership team for all things product, and to all HQ product teams for all things APAC.

- Drove development of/launched uberPOOL in SEA (Jul '16), upfront pricing (Aug '16), variable driver service fee (Dec '16), and Uber Station / Kiosk (Jan '18).
- Worked closely with regulatory and legal teams on developing complex, regulated products including Uber Taiwan (Apr '17) and Hong Kong UberTaxi (Mar '19).
- Led improvements in rider pickup and overall maps experience in the region, focusing on complex urban microgeographies (shopping malls, office buildings, etc.). Launched intelligent pickup points (Aug '16).
- Led taxi product strategy with business development teams. Tech lead for Howa Taxi partnership (Thailand, Dec '17) and ComfortDelgro partnership (Singapore, Jan '18).

Manager, APAC Product Strategy & Planning | 亚太区产品战略经理

Product and business owner of uberPOOL in China (>20m weekly trips, $30m weekly P&L). Started originally as an Analyst, and eventually drove expansion of uberPOOL from 1 to 15 cities in China, led significant product improvements, achieved positive unit economics, and contributed over half of trips in major cities. Built team of 15 cross-functional team members and was directly accountable to the China GM.

- Led machine learning and user experience projects to optimize routing, pricing, and rider incentives (US$30m per week), including launching upfront pricing for all rides in China (first market to launch). Saved hundreds of million of dollars annually by correcting routing estimations and optimizing rider pricing / incentive targeting.
- Developed launch & expansion strategy to identify what characteristics make a city likely to perform well with uberPOOL, and drove decision-making beyond China to launch in Singapore. 
- Led one-year anniversary national marketing campaign; interviewed by and received press coverage from 81 national media outlets (including Xinhua, Sina, 163.com, Sohu).
