I started Because of Marketing from my bedroom in July 2020 because I was obsessed with understanding how marketing captures our attention.

Five years later, that curiosity has grown into a global marketing media publication with a community and following of over 750,000 and 60 million organic impressions annually across the US, UK and Australia.

As I build Because of Marketing, I share my story, break down the marketing campaigns that catch my attention, and discuss the latest marketing news and trends. 

Outside of business, I'm a proud advocate for the Lewy Body Society and Alzheimer Scotland, having raised over £17,000 in the past 10 years to support their vital work.

Most teams struggle because their content is as exciting as an excel spreadsheet. I fix that.

With years of experience across UK and US markets, I create content that doesn’t just look good; it connects, converts, and builds communities. I’ve done it all: video, design, websites, copy, branding, social, and events. I love pulling everything together into campaigns that actually work.

I'm big on experimenting with new tech, including AI, to fast-track growth and help brands stay ahead of the curve. My work is all about making bold ideas happen, whether that’s building a digital presence from scratch or taking an existing brand global.

What I focus on at Boden Group:

* Building and executing content strategies that drive engagement for brands and personal brands for CEOs and directors.
* Managing social channels for growth, not just for existence.
* Turning brand values into visuals, words, and stories people remember.
* Making website content work smarter, not harder.

Coming from a Jamaican Caribbean and white British background, I naturally see things from multiple perspectives. That’s why I care about creating content that’s inclusive, diverse, and real. Great marketing should feel authentic to everyone who experiences it.

At the end of the day, I’m passionate about helping brands shine through content that’s unapologetically bold.
