🧩 Start with strategy: Rushing into a rewrite won’t deliver the results we want. We’ll map our approach first. Depending on your website, I’ll put together a quick roadmap or run a content audit to define what your site needs and which steps to prioritize. You’ll get a strategic document that we can use together or you can hand to an in-house writer. 

💻 Focused on websites: I’m an industry-generalist and marketing channel-specialist. Website strategy is my bread and butter — this is basically all I think about. (It’s a little unhealthy.)

🏗️ Wireframed writing: It’s hard to see the potential in a flat word doc. I lay things out in Figma or Google Docs to help your team internalize the vision. (Button here, heading there, 3 columns, a callout box…)

💭 Tuned into the industry: I’ve been the go-to marketer for many marketers, who market to marketers. That means sharing Zoom rooms with smart strategists and talking about things like GEO months before it was cool.

Happy new year LinkedIn Friends and Fam! I have a lot of new connections here and I'd love to do a little 2026 "this is me" post. Maybe it will inspire you to do the same? 

Some of the things I am in 2026 I have been or have been doing for a long time, other things have evolved more recently. (This feels like it's as much for me as it is for you 🤣 ).

In 2026 I am: 
— a daughter, sister (both older and younger) 
—a wife for almost 9 years and a mama for almost 7 ( 😶 )
—a dog owner for not even 2 months (this still feels wild to me)
—a lover of the outdoors, nature (if I could access both the mountains & beach in the same day I'd be in heaven)
—a human who believes in the human rights of all other humans NO MATTER WHAT
—a business owner for 4 years
—an education content partner for almost 4 years (!)
—an expert in all things literacy education and how to talk to teachers school leaders about it in an authentic, HELPFUL way. 
—a former educator and literacy specialist (17 years!) who has taught many places both in the US and abroad
—a fluent French speaker, and basic (LOL) Spanish speaker
—a coach and course developer for teachers who want to learn how to do the work I am doing now
—a person who is actively working on cultivating joy and fun and love daily. 

Outside of who I am for myself and my family, the order the rest of these things appears in is random. 

They are all things about myself that matter to me and at this point, they are all so tangled up in my identity, I'm really not sure I could say how I would "rank" them. 

This is actually something that's important to me: that I can be who I am in all the spaces I show up.  It hasn't always been this way, and it's something I have to consistently work at. 

But the important part feels like: 
I am a person who tries show up as myself. I am person who wants to help others. 

Here's who I can help:

Ways I’ve personally seen teachers design their next chapter:


👉 Leaving the classroom to consult part-time—without burning it all down
👉 Keeping their job while building something quietly on the side 
👉 Moving into instructional design, coaching, or curriculum work
👉 Taking a year off on purpose to reset (said with recognition that this comes with a healthy dose of privilege—I was not in a position to do this!)
👉 Redesigning work around energy, not job titles
👉 Choosing flexibility over prestige
👉 Trading summers “off” for autonomy year-round
👉 Creating income streams that don’t depend on constant output
👉 Centering family needs without apologizing
👉 Walking away from a path that looked 'successful'—but didn’t feel right

Many of these were true for me and those I encounter in this space. 

You don’t have to follow the most common setup for a teaching career. 

Start young, move through the 'salary steps' so you can make it to retirement (often having suffered greatly along the way). 

If there is one thing I have learned along this way and will shout from the rooftops, it's that there isn't any ONE SPECIFIC way to have a "successful" life. 

What matters is figuring out what you want and continuously taking steps towards it. 

Most growth comes from the things we almost don’t choose—
because they feel hard, uncertain, or inconvenient.

But then, we choose them anyway.

That’s why my gratitude runs deep for the teachers who keep showing up here.
Who click. Read. Reflect. Respond.
Who are willing to change—even when it’s uncomfortable. Especially when it's uncomfortable.
