The second year they serve as the president, leading the organization, managing the strategic plan and holding board meetings. The third year they serve as the Immediate Past President during which they focus on succession planning, preparing for the elections and maintaining a status quo for the culture of the organization.

After healing, I realized not only was it taking me away from enjoying video games, it was also not where my passion lay: the ah-ha moment that I found as a trainer and that I now get to foster in my clients as a life coach.

I created and delivered onboarding systems for new employees, created and delivered skills based technical training, led data cleaning initiatives, created business processes, collaborated on process improvement and served as a subject matter expert on PERS eligibility. I served on numerous work groups and hiring committees. I lead teams on special projects. I created and managed metric reporting systems to help identify pain points in daily processes. I was a respected and valuable member of the team. I left due to a back injury that required staying housebound. As the agency didn't have a work-from-home strategy at that time, I resigned willingly.

I am an ACC certified professional coach, a leader in my local chapter of the International Coaching Federation (Oregon Charter Chapter), an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, a business owner, son & husband.

I'm also a big old nerd!  I love Dungeons and Dragons, most things Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and video games.  I'm partially disabled and I work every day to overcome chronic pain and perfectionist tendencies, to live a more fulfilling and productive life. 

I realized that over the years, playing cooperative storytelling games (like Dungeons and Dragons) that I learned more about myself there than with a therapist.  I am on a mission to capture that experience and share it with my clients.  I believe storytelling has so much potential and neuroscience agrees.
