Part of the Group Change function that supported key strategic initiatives at project, programme and portfolio level.   

Key Achievements 
* Resource Management:  Designed and presented a revised resource demand process across all projects which improved process efficiency by over 80% on a monthly basis.   Successfully rolled out new process to all project teams with minimal disruption to BAU.

* SharePoint Document management: Re-designed a key strategic Programme site on SharePoint to enable users to easily find relevant documents as quickly as possible.   Ensured best practice was shared across all key stakeholders and with the rest of the portfolio.  

* Portfolio Reporting:  Standardised reporting templates at Programme level to facilitate smooth transfer of MI into various different MI packs and reduced overall preparation time by 25%

PMO analyst

Worked as part of the IT projects team that is helping to support the construction of first UK nuclear power station in 25 years.   My role was to provide governance assurance and portfolio reporting to senior stakeholders for work done by 3rd party partners (ATOS, EY, Accenture and Capgemini).   

Key Achievements 

* Project Governance:  Managed key stakeholder expectations whilst providing assurance reports on up to 20 projects running concurrently on a monthly basis. Ensured all projects were being delivered in accordance with agreed standards and delivery methods with a mitigation plan if key criteria not being met.  Controls helped to ensure all elements of time, cost and quality were closely monitored.  

*Financial Reporting: Reduced preparation time for monthly financial metrics on the Portfolio Status reports by 74% whilst ensuring high quality outputs were submitted within agreed deadlines.   

*Trend Analysis:   Increased awareness of key lessons learned from previous projects and shared them across the whole portfolio.  Ensured all new projects took into account key lessons during planning phases and embedded information into gate checkpoint criteria.     
   
* Risk Management: Increased collaboration between senior stakeholders across the different departments by facilitating portfolio level risk meetings to mitigate potential risks and improve engagement.

Operations management for front and back office departments.   This multinational financial services company is the market leader for life insurance in the UK.   

Key Achievements:

•	Project Design & Implementation – presented recommendations to senior management team for embedding new EU regulations concerning gender underwriting.  Rolled out the initiative engaging with the legal teams, key stakeholders and various sites, managing the project through key milestones and with minimum disruption to customers and business.  Experience updating RAID logs, Risk Matrix and taking minutes.  

•	Change Management – led various projects through IT system changes and organisational restructures.  Designed and ran workshops to improve processes, speed change and deliver results

•	Business Process Improvements – reduced costs by c. £70K per annum by initiating an idea that improved the customer journey.  Managed the complexities of installing the project across various UK sites including with our remote IT teams in India

•	Data Interpretation/Root Cause Analysis – reduced error rates on application submissions from key accounts by identifying the top 5 reasons and then putting training into place which enhanced the understanding for both the Sales and Accounts teams and significantly solved the problem

•	Management & Coaching – led teams of up to 20 employees of all ages and nationalities, uniting them to form cohesive teams that delivered excellence as standard practice.  Coached and mentored individually to ensure that performance levels were consistent and problems were identified early  

•	Key Account Management – managed a Service Team that looked after key business accounts and personally represented the company with our top 20% e-commerce companies, exceeding service level agreements
