Hi, I’m Rachid 🤙

My first job was at 15, working for my dad. He’s always gone far and beyond for the customer, always providing value for money.  Fast-forward 13 years, I’m always asking myself “how much value can I provide?” Wherever I go, whatever I do. 

Now with 7 + years in the Marketing game, I’ve spent the majority of my career moving the needle to create profitable outcomes and produce cost-effective growth. I believe my focus and achievements have been based on several things, namely:

#1. Outcome Focused:
I like to roll up my sleeves and make things happen.  Tackling the entire growth journey, from acquisition to monetisation, through activation, retention, and referral. Delivering results results such as consistent lead flow, fitting tactics together to drive LTV up / CAC down, as well as delivering ROI, faster and at a lower cost.

#2. Full-Stack:  
I lean towards being 'full-stack' rather than a specialist. This has led to me producing better outputs by being good at a broad range of skills. I'm always curious, trying to understand everything, which has helped build a unique, complementary and valuable skill stack.
 
#3. Doing > Talking: 
The best way I learn is by actually doing. Experimentation, iteration, improvement, trial and error.  I try to spend most of my time observing and then doing things that have a real measurable effect. I take the ‘Theory Then Action’ route - before the action, I like to define the end goal, break it down into the actions I need to achieve it, and then the knowledge I need to have in order to take that action. 

#4. Standing Out:
There is nothing worse than indifference.  I try not to rely on the tactics that thousands are already employing. Instead, I approach the market with a fresh perspective and identify what unique value I can bring to the table through creatives and positioning.

During this period drove a strategy to connecting with new clients to deliver multi-region campaigns leveraging the full technology stack of our group. The largest individual deal generated $16m in revenue.

Personally launched our services in MENA and built a profitable revenue stream with Agency groups there.

Feefo is setting itself up to shake up a review and ratings market that has been characterised for too long by poor customer service, inflexibility and and an imbalance in value exchange between brands and their technology partners.

It’s a thought experiment on where outbound is now being done.

I think the role of the human in a world of ai slop is something we are seeing - calls and events are having a purple patch. LinkedIn led lead magnets are all over the place. And whilst email has never been easier ai means it’s utterly overwhelming for buyers. All things I’ve heard from other gtm leaders at Pavilion  

Growth is customer led for the whole market ax we go through an AI led transition.

I think SaaS is increasingly relying on customer reviews, not just from G2 to prove value for investors and buyers. We are looking at our own review strategy and are seeing strong impact from it as we roll it out.

Where the balance of information is skewed to the buyer they need to see social proof in their research.
