For over 20 years, I have built and led a global executive search business focused on CEO, Board, and senior P&L leadership across the value chain.

At Alcott Global, executive search is our core business and primary revenue engine. We work with Boards and CEOs on leadership appointments where the outcome is enterprise performance, not just role completion. Our work typically sits at the intersection of value creation, operational complexity, and transformation.

Alongside search, we have deliberately built a broader leadership ecosystem that gives us continuous, real-world access to senior decision-makers. This includes C-level events, closed-door executive roundtables, and the Leaders in Supply Chain podcast, where I regularly speak with CEOs, Board members, and global operators running large, complex organisations.

I am the co-author of From Source to Sold, an Amazon bestselling book on value chain leadership, and have lived and worked across multiple regions, giving me a global perspective shaped by direct exposure to different business environments and leadership models.

Positioned both as a member of the Regional Leadership Team and Global Indirect Procurement Team, leading a team of experts across 12 countries and accountable for the overall Regional Procurement Strategy design and implementation with a portfolio of $450M. Supported the project team in defining the functional and leadership capabilities required to support the new regional Target Operating Model.

Head of Indirect Procurement region APAC & China

Leading the Global Procurement transformation and driving the function's Vision & strategy.
Translating the direction of business units to actionable strategies. I improved the engagement of the Global Procurement function (350 FTEs) from 32% to 73%. I successfully integrated a new innovation application that drove the sharing of improvement ideas among employees at all levels, collaborated with senior stakeholders across procurement, finance, and business units.

Head Global Sourcing Strategy & Transformation

Co-created and implemented a new commercial operating model emphasizing scalability, flexibility, and cost reductions within the global logistics operation,  promoted data visibility within the complete supply chain process, utilizing that data to negotiate with suppliers and secure large sourcing contracts.

As a leader, I oversaw  the development and implementation of the 4PL sourcing strategy, managing a team of 8 regional category managers in allocating a spend portfolio within the sourcing strategy.

Head of Global Logistics Procurement

Managed a team of 10 employees across five countries, allocated a spend portfolio and fostered organizational alignment with the procurement processes. With this, I improved compliance with the established “procure to pay” process significantly over two years and delivered savings of addressable spend in collaboration with the Global / Regional Category Managers.

I also developed solid relationships with country General Managers and drove cross-departmental strategic alignment in developing budgets and securing cost savings.

Head of Indirect Procurement Central, South East & Eastern Europe

Oversaw the creation of the category team, identified and developed strategies to attract, retain, and improve third party growers on a global scale. I recruited and led a team of eight in allocating a spend portfolio while delivering cost savings in 2010 through a variety of Innovative ideas and process advancements.

I developed and tailored contracts to meet the needs of individual suppliers while attracting and retaining good partners as a part of the transformation and implementation of the company’s new target operating model.

Head of Global Seeds Procurement

In late 2007, Syngenta IS and Procurement engaged BT to help co-create a “future proof” telecommunications strategy able to address the major shift on the market towards “convergence and Unified Communication” but also Syngenta’s growth ambition. As Global Category Manager in Telecommunications & Applications, I Led the negotiation of a complex outsourcing agreement worth $ 300m which is recognized as industry best practice. (Gartner / Hudson and Yorke). This contract provided the latest Voice and Data convergence technology to Syngenta while significantly reducing the annual Network and Telephony operational expenditure. 

Additionally, I presented the business case to the Syngenta Senior Executive Committee including Syngenta CEO for approval, resulting in the program delivering noticeable savings and a new standard commercial model.

Drastically reduced the number of suppliers and improved the OTD performance of the logistic suppliers across Europe. In addition, I redesigned and implemented more effective way to contract other Logistics suppliers. I led the development and execution of category management strategies for all assigned categories/commodities.
