Happy Holi Everyone!!!!

It’s that time of the year again when I take a bath and wear something colourful.

Just to sit facing the centre table with a plate with compartments and each with diff colour, a beautiful box of dry fruits, a bowl full of gujiyas, namakpaare, dahi bade, and shreekhand.

One red tika on my head and mom’s fingers brushed on, let’s say, yellow colour and then on my cheeks.

Imagine sitting idle, looking at people’s stories celebrating Holi in the so-called ‘Holi party’ that’s paid.

This once again reminds me of my childhood moment where ‘holi party’ meant 5 hours of colour and water celebration, and coming back home to a very delicious lunch followed by 2 hours of nap.

And, of course, I missed the struggle cleansing/bath after the celebration.

That used to be holi that only demanded holiday and time, not money.

I don’t know if we will ever be back to celebrating the festival of colour like that - it was to die for.

Who has celebrated that kind of Holi??

Hence, you don't need to stuff your headline with keywords - you just need to be a problem solver and state it.

Last week’s post was liked by many of you, and y’all asked, “How do I create a targeted list of leads?” — so let’s break it down step by step.

Here you go 👇

1. Define your ICP first:

→ Before touching any tool, get crystal clear on who you’re selling to.
If you’re still unsure, refer back to my ICP post from (check the link in the comment)

2. Use LinkedIn’s Advanced Search:

→ Now head to LinkedIn and apply all relevant filters:

➤ Industry
➤ Company size
➤ Geography
➤ Job titles
➤ Seniority
➤ Technologies used (if relevant)
➤ Don’t rush this part. Precision here saves hours later.

3. Identify buying triggers & signals:

→ This is where most people miss the mark.
Open a notebook (yes, literally) and list signals that indicate a company is ready or close to buying.

Some examples 👇

➤ Recently raised funding
➤ Hiring for roles related to your solution
➤ New leadership (CXO, Head of X, etc.)
➤ Expansion into new markets
➤ New product launch
➤ Tech stack change
➤ Declining performance / negative reviews
➤ Regulatory or market changes affecting them

If a company checks multiple triggers, it goes to the top of your list.

Result:

Now look at your system - you’re no longer “spraying and praying.”
You’re reaching out with context, relevance, and timing.

Here’s what happened when we fixed ONE stage of a SaaS client’s funnel.

Solid product. Clear ICP. Capable team.

They were doing everything “right”:

✅ Posting on LinkedIn
✅ Running LinkedIn outreach
✅ Sending cold emails
✅ Booking some calls

But the results were inconsistent.
Some weeks: 3 calls.
Some weeks: 0.

The pipeline wasn’t predictable.

We audited their GTM funnel and found the leak wasn’t traffic…

It was the “first reply → booked call” stage.

Prospects were replying:
“Sounds interesting”
“Can you share more details?”
“Maybe later”

Looks like progress — but 80% of those conversations died there. No call booked.

The fix?
We replaced their generic follow-up with a simple 2-step conversion sequence.

Instead of re-pitching, we qualified:

“Quick one — are you looking to solve this in the next 30 days or just researching?”

If it were a priority:

“Got it. This is usually a 15-minute fit check. Want me to share 2 slots?”

No over-explaining. Just a clean next step.

In 14 days:

📌 More replies turned into booked calls
📌 Fewer time-wasters
📌 More predictable outreach
📌 Founders out of their DMs

The lesson:

Most SaaS/IT companies don’t have a lead problem.
They have a conversion leak inside outbound.

Fix ONE stage, and everything changes.

If you’re doing LinkedIn + cold email, but it feels random, your system is incomplete.
