If you're wondering where to start or how to go deeper, here’s a practical roadmap to guide your journey.

1. Start with the Basics
Understand what Generative AI really is.
AI → Machine Learning → Deep Learning → Generative AI
Learn how models generate text, images, and code based on patterns from data. Clarity at this stage saves months of confusion later.

2. Master the Core Concepts
You don’t need a PhD, but you do need foundations:
Probability
Linear Algebra
Calculus (basics)
Statistics
These concepts help you truly understand how models work, not just use them.

3. Explore Foundation Models
Get hands-on with models like GPT, Llama, Gemini, Claude, etc.
Learn:
What makes them “foundation” models?
How they’re trained.
When to use which model?

4. Learn the GenAI Development Stack
Practical tools matter:
Python
LangChain
Vector Databases
Hugging Face
Prompt Engineering
This is where theory turns into real-world applications.

5. Understand Model Training (High Level)
Know the lifecycle:

Every week a new tool launches.
Every month entire workflows change.

A few years ago, most people only knew about one or two AI tools. Today, hundreds of powerful AI platforms help people write, design, code, automate tasks, analyze data, and even create videos.

I recently came across a visual list of the most useful AI tools across categories, and it’s a great reminder of how much the ecosystem has expanded.

You’ll find tools for:

Which AI tool has made the biggest difference in your workflow lately? 👇

A lot of people are building AI apps right now.
This one is for you.

At the India AI Impact Summit 2026 recently, I saw a demo that caught my attention.

Cashfree Payments  showed how payments could be completed directly inside AI conversations like ChatGPT and Claude.

Not a separate checkout page. Not a payment link.

A payment flow initiated from inside the conversation itself, while the user still authorises the transaction on familiar rails like UPI or cards.

Today I saw the video Varun Mayya shared showing the same idea in action and that’s when it really clicked.

What Cashfree seems to be building is essentially a payment layer between AI interfaces and MCP Apps. So next time, if I want to order Swiggy from ChatGPT, I could potentially do it within the same conversation.

For builders and businesses, that’s a pretty interesting growth lever.

Because once AI interfaces can initiate real-world actions, the gap between reasoning and execution starts shrinking.

It is India’s first payment connector for Apps that work inside AI Interfaces.So if you're building something in the AI interface space, it's worth checking out.
