1) concept & security lead in a pilot project that delivered a MS Azure-based Advanced Analytics  landscape and support model for a Nokia business unit
2) Representative of the IT for CFO in setting up enterprise-wide data governance. E.g. defining data owner roles & responsibilities, data classification & cross-use process, application compliance assessment criteria

I was driving the re-definition of policies, tools and process roles around data governance & system access in Nokia. I was a sub-project lead in a program that would have completely replaced the financial reporting, planning and forecasting systems with a new Enterprise Performance Management system, accompanied by a deep-diving adaption of the SAP ERP transactional layer. The landscape included SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP BO, SAP MDM and SAP GRC. The program was discontinued due to the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent and the subsequent transformation activities.,

As conference manager, I coordinated the collection of scientific content (ie. call for and selection of presentations), quest for financial sponsors as well as the conference facilities (venue, catering, decoration - you name it!) and extracurricular activities for multiple conferences for different audiences. The most memorable event was the international convention of the Latinists in July 1996: 200 people conversing in, presenting in, and even singing jazz in ancient Latin in the white nights of the Northern summer.
