I lead the data science and engineering team at Apple Finance - Services and Infra. The team focuses on translating business problems and requirements into data products using advanced statistical and machine learning models to support and help Apple leadership make data-driven decisions.

I am also an open-source contributor and the author of Hands-On Time Series Analysis with R (Packt publication) and several R packages for time series analysis and machine learning applications. Currently working on my next book, Applied Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, which focuses on forecasting at scale.

- Successfully designed and implemented a Power BI dashboard that integrated monthly MRP data from multiple Excel files and many other sources, utilizing R programming language to clean and standardize the data. The dashboard displayed consumption trends, on-hand inventory history, shortages by MRP, safety stock history, lead time analysis, and average consumption rates for over 5000 items. Custom visuals were created to enable easy identification of sudden changes in item performance, allowing for better decision-making and improved team tracking.
- Improved supply chain traceability and reports accuracy, resulting in a significant increase in delivery index from 35% to 84% after two quarters, by implementing drill-down tables and identifying delays and surplus shipments.
- Utilized R programming language and various libraries such as tidyverse, lubridate, stringr, and ggplot2 to clean data and generate multiple reports. Also, utilized Power BI and Power Pivot to create custom measures in DAX and compare weekly production planning with forecasted MPS, highlighting deviations and production bottlenecks.
- Designed dashboards using Excel Power Pivot and Power BI, utilizing advanced Power Query (M language) and DAX techniques to calculate department performance indicators and generate weekly reports. Developed new order tracking reports for factories using ETA and MRP periods, resulting in better order tracking and stainless steel converting ratios.
- Developed an MBO tracking report utilizing advanced Excel formulas, including conditional formatting, to identify incomplete and unfinished tasks and notify relevant teams. Successfully introduced the OKR approach to our department by conducting a mini workshop and holding multiple meetings with each supervisor.
- Developed expertise in MRP, BOM, and MPS, as well as the fixed order interval method for inventory control and periodic ordering based on EOQ principles.

Supply Planner Specialist

- Proficient in Python (pandas and numpy) and R programming, which were utilized to automate reports and daily routines, resulting in increased accuracy and preparation speed. Examples include preparing not shipped orders report to customers with details such as number of each product, destinations, and order issued date, facilitating better prioritizing of shipments.
- Recognized for being a friendly, hardworking, and punctual employee.

- Successfully acquired proficiency in Excel, DAX, and VBA, and applied business intelligence and data analyst concepts to design and implement a sales management dashboard. The dashboard automated the issuance of PI and invoice, calculated total sales, revenue, and profit, monitored inventory levels, and tracked debt amounts owed to/from customers/suppliers. This resulted in a significant increase in company turnover by approximately 200% and improved customer satisfaction.
