I was in charge of the Internet activities and the general computer facilities at the WaterDome in Johannesburg (2002), Here, at the World Summit for Sustainable Development, Ferendi was commissioned by the de Africa Water Taskforce to create this special event for water management professionals.

Consequently, in the next year, I advised clients in their quest for the most suitable content management systems (CMS). As a result, we developed a standardised selection procedure.

I have been working for the Amstelveen Municipality, Nedeco, WGCC and IHE. Later I spend most of my working hours serving BioASP, one of the activities of the Stichting NBIC. I was involved in the implementation of a Portal (SUN) and CMS (MediaSurface), where integraton of both systems was a key issue.
