The difference changed my career.

Early in my career, I had a boss who tracked everything.

Login time.
Break time.
Exit time.

If numbers dipped, the pressure rose.

If mistakes happened, the volume rose.

The message was clear:
“Results matter more than people.”

I learned how to survive.

Years later, I met a leader.

On my first week, I made a mistake that cost the team time.

I walked into the meeting ready for a lecture.

Instead, the leader asked one question:

“What did this teach us?”

No blame.

That moment stayed with me.

Because here’s the real difference:

A boss:
