Products included: TV Guide Channel, TV Guide Interactive, Sneak Prevue, TV Games, KTLA, WGN, WPIX, TV Guide Online, The Cable Guide, The Ultimate Cable Guide and TV Guide Magazine.

•	Launched TV Guide on analog format to: 
-	200,000 new Comcast customers in Philadelphia DMA.
-	30,000 new customers in Cox Virginia Beach system.
•	Earned additional responsibilities due to technical aptitude and passion:
-	Newly created role as information specialist between TV Guide Interactive Product Group and eastern region sales team; translated technology issues that aided sales staff to present new versions of the product.
-	Provided database support and software installation for sales force.
-	Initiated Sales Department’s interest in use of Palm Pilots for time and territory management; trained colleagues how to use it.
•	Established excellent relationship with Comcast’s Regional Marketing Director, the first TV Guide representative to do so; earned increased presence in Comcast’s video advertising.
•	Established valuable rapport with Comcast’s Technical Manager, with whom other TV Guide Reps had been unsuccessful; relationship yielded valuable competitive intelligence. 
•	Successfully sold branding campaigns and promotional strategies on multimedia to affiliates.

Bravo TV

Designed and implemented comprehensive marketing campaigns for Bravo and The Independent Film Channel (IFC) in territory comprised of 800,000 basic subscribers in Virginia and West Virginia. Developed marketing plans that utilized tactics targeting basic cable and non-cable households, and that reinforced value of product, and built positive image for the cable operator in the community.

•	Created market demand, negotiated deal and launched IFC in unlikely prospect, Charleston, WV. 
-	Developed grassroots campaign to convince system to launch: used relationships with Arts Groups, sponsored Arts Group’s annual dance, sponsored West Virginia International Film Festival, devised petition circulated in Retail Outlets, was interviewed on local ABC affiliate and in local newspaper.
•	Promoted Bravo as sponsor of Summer Youth Programs in cooperation with Adelphia-Lynchburg, VA to promote arts education in school.
•	Led Training and Marketing initiative throughout Eastern and Southern regions to promote Bravo and IFC during TCI’s digital HITS launch.  Initiated systems’ involvement with Arts Communities.
•	Launched Bravo in Charter-Morgantown, WV system; initiated ideas to use Bravo to sponsor Arts Community activities within the University.
•	Integrated IFC’s broadband presence with local market activities; convinced Adelphia-Charlottesville to promote Virginia Film Festival that IFC carried on live “webcast.”

I am a 17-year-old junior at Stanford Online High School (OHS), based at Stanford University. My favorite subjects are philosophy, history, and English, and I also love learning languages, including Mandarin and Latin, and in programming, Java and Python.

I am also a teenpreneur.  I launched an artisan soap business at age seven and have since been part of dozens of children's business fairs and won multiple business, sales, and marketing awards. As I got older, I took entrepreneurship classes, and learned about developing business plans and investing. My experiences as a kidpreneur and questions about being a successful leader as part of a generation navigating unprecedented global challenges inspired my first book, Down to Business: 51 Industry Leaders Share Practical Advice on How to Become a Young Entrepreneur, which was published by Random House on March 5, 2024.

Apart from nonfiction, I also love to explore the styles and approaches of other types of writing - philosophical, historical, analytical, scientific, and creative, among others; I am currently writing a fantasy trilogy. I have studied creative writing at the Kenyon Young Writers Workshop, Stanford Summer Institutes, Yale Young Writers Workshop and Ellipsis Writing, among others, and my work has been recognized by the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards with a Gold Key award and by Writopia Lab's Youth Essay Writing Conference.

I am especially interested in ethics, whether that takes the form of deep study or friendly debates about current events. I am passionate about social justice issues in the modern world, and actively work to do my part - from learning to be a better ally to volunteering at a local animal rescue and playing chess with senior citizens. 

In my free time I love reading, rock climbing, traveling, and competing in Pokémon card tournaments.
