At VTS Track Solutions, I was responsible for the sales of final drives and led a team of two inside sales representatives. I ensured that the product portfolio was well-maintained and aligned with customer needs. Additionally, I provided procurement advice on quantities based on forecasts and negotiated purchasing agreements with suppliers.

I supported customers with technical issues, such as RMA cases and warranty claims, and collaborated with OEMs to develop tailored solutions for drive systems and motors. I also managed a newly established European webshop, ensuring an efficient product offering and improved accessibility for our customers.

In this role, I combined commercial and technical expertise to deliver the best support to our customers while optimizing our internal processes.

At ATD Machinery, I served as the Sales Support Manager. ATD Machinery is a leading supplier of machines and equipment for the cigar industry. My clients included cigar manufacturers in various countries such as the Dominican Republic, China, Sri Lanka, and the USA. In this role, I was responsible for spare parts sales and coordinating machine overhauls.

A significant part of my role involved maintaining and managing the spare parts portal, which provided customers with easy access to the parts they needed. I acted as a liaison between the engineering department and the customers, ensuring that all technical specifications and customer requirements were accurately understood and translated into a modernized machinery setup.

At HGG I was responsible for the sale of cutting services in the south of the Netherlands and Belgium. HGG is a machine factory and makes beautiful machines for cutting steel pipes, tubes and beams. The machines use plasma or oxyfuel cutting and can therefore cut wall thicknesses up to 200mm. You see this kind of work a lot in the offshore and wind turbine market. In addition to the fact that HGG makes machines, they have ten machines in the Wieringerwerf factory in which they perform work for third parties, as a service. As a Sales Engineer/Account Manager I brought in new customers and maintained the relationship with existing customers such as Iemants in Arendonk and SIF Roermond.

At Acal BFi Nederland, I worked as an Inside Sales Engineer specializing in Sensors and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions. Acal BFi is a distributor of specialized electronic components and systems, focused on delivering customized solutions for a wide range of industries.

In this role, I was responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers across various sectors. My tasks included preparing quotations, analyzing customer needs, and advising on suitable sensor and HMI solutions. I collaborated closely with the field sales team, suppliers, and engineering departments to deliver optimal solutions to clients.

I ❤️ Product Management!

It’s the perfect combination of engineering, commerce, and customer focus. From a young age, I’ve always been curious about how things work, which initially led me to pursue a technical career. Building on that technical foundation, I later transitioned into commercial roles, where I developed essential skills in sales & marketing and delivering solutions that truly meet customer needs.

In my role as Product Manager at Spirotech, I combine my technical knowledge with my commercial experience to develop products that benefit both our customers and the company. What sets me apart is my ability to speak the language of both technical and commercial teams, fostering collaboration between them and driving innovation within the business. This not only supports successful product launches but also helps us achieve our strategic goals.

Outside of work, I’m always focused on personal growth. I studied Commercial Economics at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and continue to challenge myself through courses and reading. In the future, I aim to pursue a part-time Master’s in Business Administration once my children are older and I have more time to study.
