TLL is an after-school academic startup that experienced high growth in the early 2000s, from solopreneurship to a US$40 million brand. They’re known for their innovative initiatives and remarkable success in preparing students aiming for the Ivy League / OxBridge. 

Accomplishments:
Managed project to get us on the short list of centers approved by the Singapore Ministry of Education. Tasks included proposal writing, curriculum editing, interviews, and inspection-readiness.

Led team project of moving locations for expansion - from lease negotiations to build-out. Succeeded in getting a Gucci-store look on an IKEA budget. Helped team with the logistics of moving a student body of 1,400.

Helped establish The Learning Lab TV “channel” with marketing and community-oriented programming on multiple public-facing screens across sites. 

Built and established our Life Sciences exhibit area. Sourced for exotic lop-eared rabbits, guinea pigs and a chinchilla. 

Refined and communicated TLL’s brand aesthetic and messaging. 

Managed all communication between the CEO and department heads and partners. Handled international hiring, company-wide project tracking, crisis management, and personal administrative matters.

Responsible for accessioning an accrual to the Wilson Duff fonds, with duties ranging from updating the finding aid to make it RAD compliant to working with non-textual First Nations anthropological archives.

Responsible for arranging and describing the large Daryl Duke accession, as well as producing a finding aid which details contents including textual records, audio/visual materials, photographs, and ephemera. I was also responsible for setting up an exhibition to showcase key pieces of the fonds and draw visitors to SFU's Rare Books and Special Collections archives.
