These 3 job stats are a worry: 72%, 51%, 44%
Because they show something serious going on:

The numbers are for 2023, 2024 and 2025 in terms of the % of candidates with multiple job offers in their most recent job search*

That's trending dramatically down.

What does this mean?

This:
If you are less likely to have options, then you need to change something. 

Especially as the employment market will only get more competitive.

So what to do?

Focus on you, more. Here's how:

Look, sending out a résumé and patiently waiting in line is asking for trouble.

Instead, proactivity is the solution.

So:
1. Share your opinions on LinkedIn
↳ You'll be asked them in an interview anyway. 
But now your answer reaches many.

2. Network up
↳ Connect with those that might hire/influence hiring decisions. 
But be human: conversation > a pitch for a job

3. Show up, just not in queues
↳ Waiting in line for an interview screams average. 
Instead, go to events to network. Even attend events here on LinkedIn. 

Having the inside edge like this is how you get noticed
And importantly, it starts useful conversations.
Those that hire love to see initiative. 

What else? 
Work on your communication:
- Persuasion, influence and articulation all matter. 
- Because when you work hard to get your foot in the door, you don't want to throw that opportunity because you didn't train how you'd show up.

How else can a job seeker be proactive?

Bad advice can often sound good
So we think it's right. Here's an example:

Write content for 1 person
Talk about the 1 problem
Give them 1 solution

Part of this misses the mark.

And it's that middle line.

"Talk about the 1 problem"

You see, when you truly understand buyer behaviour, you realise something about "problems":
• You know what they are
• They usually don't

Typically, people don't fully know their problems
and they certainly haven't labelled them

For example:
- Business owners don't know their website's issue is its UX
- A patient with a cough won't know they have bronchitis
- CEOs don't think their problem is their personal brand

Problems require awareness

So you can see that speaking about problems often misses the mark.

You get it
Your peers get it
...and your engagement wrongly suggests your audience gets it

But the right people need it to relate more to what they're feeling now.

How do we fix this?

Instead of talking about the problem itself,
Speak to the symptoms of the problem:

Suddenly, the right people can relate to them
Because they're consciously living them
They're totally frustrated by them
They're fed up with them

It's a tiny nuance, but makes a massive difference

So,

Write content for 1 person
Focus on their symptoms 
Give them 1 next step

Let's stop pretending the month is over.

It’s not.

And yet some are already winding down, half-writing off the last few days like they don’t count.

Let me remind you:
↳ Revenue doesn’t care what the calendar says
↳ Targets don’t adjust themselves because you “feel done”
↳ And prospects don’t progress themselves while you blow across your coffee and coast into December

We’ve got 4 working days. 

That’s not “wrap-up” time
It's close time

↳ The pros know it
↳ The high performers I know always have this attitude
↳ That top 1% are circling their opportunities

Meanwhile, others are forecasting
Because they're finished.

So ask yourself:
Are you done? 
Or are you hitting the end of the month?

Easing in vs finishing strong:
It's always interesting to see how people respond, this time of the year

You are an asset.

This mindset shift altered two things for me:
- The view of myself 
- My career in sales

Here's how you possibly see yourself right now:

You see yourself as a source of frustration to prospects
You feel their time is worth more than yours
You're concerned you're intruding

Instead, start viewing yourself as an asset and the solution to their problems.

If a potential prospect needs support, then you are providing it!

This is valuable and needed.

From that reframe, you're not an irritation nor imposing on them.

Only by recognizing how much you can contribute in solving problems will you start approaching your sales as the helpful advisor rather than a begging, needy salesperson.

So, show them you're the expert equipped to answer any question they might have. 

But the big thing is to also show up as someone proud to be able to assist them.

Your skills and expertise are what set you apart and make you an asset - so now it’s time to own it.

Are you willing to say that?

According to Seth Godin, this is precisely what a leader should be willing to say to their team. 

Managers follow rules
They execute the plan
They deliver the thing 

But to volunteer. To say "I'll try this";
That is leadership.

So, 
↳ If you're doing the same as your peers
↳ If you're playing safe to only take part
↳ If you're letting others be the outliers

Then you're in the riskiest business of all.

Instead, we should be "dancing with the future".
Because it might just work.

1. Write the hook FIRST

- Hook first drives direction of the post
- Stops me swerving off writing nonsense
- Gives my writing purpose from the off
- Helps me stay on topic throughout
- Directs focus on the problem I’m solving

6 hook templates for you to try:

- How to {dream outcome} without {main obstacle}
- The best way to {dream outcome}
- How I {dream outcome} in {specific timeframe}
- My biggest struggles as a {type of person} were:
- It’s weird {type of person} still use {tool} to {outcome}.
- I’ve been {action} for {timeframe}.

2. Share stupidly, weirdly transparent details

- I educate with 75% of my posts
- It keeps people coming back to my posts
- Share every detail of your process
- If you think it’s boring, it’s not - i PROMISE you
- People are obsessed with behind the scenes stuff
- Help the reader solve a problem on the spot
- Add context to the detail you give
- Relate to own experiences, stories, learnings
- Actionable, actionable, actionable.

4 ways to structure educational posts:

- Problem → list why it’s bad → quick solution
- Hook → step by step guide → TL;DR
- Hook → numbered list of insights → summary
- Problem → agitate → solution

3. Sign off the post

- Simple takeaway the reader can remember
- Last line read → last thing they remember
- People forget the point of the post by the end
- Need to remind them or the message gets lost
- Emotional endings create action
- Think about it: beginning → middle → end
- Catch the reader off guard right at the end
- Make them think, laugh, sob, something

6 simple methods to sign off a post:

- A ‘yes or no’ question
- A motivational line
- An abrupt, sudden ending
- A funny comment
- A single emoji (i like ✌️)
- A Callback → re-iterating the hook

Then, schedule each post in magicpost.in and finito!

I’ve used this silly, simple writing process for 3+ years.

But there's SO many people on LinkedIn that write posts like their manager or high school English teacher is breathing down their neck.

No matter the "way to win". Selfies, carousels, infographics.

They're all nothing unless you figure out human writing.

5 bits of writing advice for you:

1. Remove the stick from your butt
2. Stop thinking everyone's watching you
3. Write from your Lived Experience
4. Don't rely on ChatGPT to write for you
5. Use tools to accelerate your writing / creativity

90% of successful LinkedIn writing is being active:

- work on projects / with clients
- participate in hobbies and interests
- test your skills and expertise in the field
- live a normal, unspectacular life
- have opinions on things

Then write on LinkedIn what:

- lessons you learned
- outcomes you drove
- failures you overcame
- emotions you felt
- problems you solved
- steps you took

You ARE the ideas.

Write from your Lived Experience.

Easiest, fastest and most fun way to write.

I started this year in a FULL panic:

- i cancelled retainers with clients
- procrastinating on starting new projects
- classic new year starting from zero again

It was a very shitty feeling, ngl.

But I'm proud to be ending this year strong:

- biggest revenue month of 2025 in november
- black friday was a good'un and very stress free
- i'm back learning armenian + taking padel lessons
- my writing is consistent and still SO fun

Going into 2026 with confidence.

If you're NOT going into 2026 with confidence, though?

My advice (after my early year meltdown this year):

It's a long long LONG 12 months.

- take a breather
- regroup yourself
- trust your own abilities

At some point, I had to stop:

- overthinking every word i write
- stressing over who was watching me
- second guessing and doubting myself
- worrying if i was "doing it right"

And just say "screw this" and hit post.

Action is the best cure for being in your own head.

I have zero doubts of this.

Writing online is THE best confidence hack.

4 years ago I was too scared to go put a business card in a cafe.

(not even lying. ask my wife 😂)

I write on LinkedIn every single day.

Here’s 13 benefits of writing on LinkedIn that you probably wouldn't ever think of, but make a MASSIVE difference to your confidence:

1. You get better at writing → the more you write the easier it gets to say what you really think.

2. You find your voice → writing helps you figure out how YOU like to share ideas.

3. People see your skills → sharing what you know shows others that you’re good at something (aka self promotion).

4. You build a good habit → writing teaches you to stick with something and builds discipline.

5. You see that your ideas matter → when people like or comment on your posts, it reminds you that what you say is actually worth something.

6. You get stronger inside → sharing your thoughts and getting bad/negative feedback builds thick skin.

After 4 years writing on LinkedIn, I know:

Being 100% original, all the time, is HARD.

- feels like everything already exists
- why listen to me when it’s been said before?
- i’m not creative ALL the time
- my own ideas don’t work as well as other writers’

So I’ll let you in on a little secret.

I’m not 100% original all the time.

Because writing that already worked, is already proven.

So the best strategy is:

Do more of what worked.

Here’s my exact 15 step process to keep writing banger post after banger post and keep getting more LinkedIn post engagement (without needing to be 100% original every time):

1. Go to magicpost.in
2. Go to Metrics
3. Select last 30 days
4. Sort by likes
5. Click on a post
6. Click Save as template
7. Go to New post
8. Select Template mode
9. Find the template you saved
10. Click Use this template
11. Select Close similarity
12. Write an opinionated subject, 5-10 sentences
13. Click Generate a post
14. Tweak and edit to make it ‘you’
15. Schedule to post

This process MASSIVELY increases my odds of hitting another big post.

And I don’t need to be 100% original.

I just need to do more of what works.

But now it’s your turn.

How to Quickly Write Banger LinkedIn Posts

I wrote 7 LinkedIn posts in 1.5 hours this morning.

10am to 11:30am. Here's how I did it step by step:

1. Sat for about 30 minutes writing and deleting
2. Started looking back at old posts for inspiration
3. Find a winner from 2024 I liked the look of
4. Re-wrote it to match my core message now
5. Scheduled it in magicpost.in to post on LinkedIn

Funny because that first 30 mins sounds like a waste.

But it's that 30 mins of screwing around that leads to:

- finding a process that works
- settling in creatively
- writing freely and writing quickly

My writing lesson to you today:

DON'T give up writing after 15 or 30 mins of nothing.

You gotta plow through that shitty bit at the start.

That's what unlocks the writing goodness!

If I can give myself credit for one thing, it's:

Making myself feel GUILTY for not working.

- a friend or family comes to visit us
- we go have fun and do nice things
- i work less naturally to spend time with them

I know I'm not the only one who does this.

But it's not something I'd LIKE to do all the time.

Note to self (and you, if you're like me):

Take the damn time OFF.

Just book it off.

- inform clients / colleagues
- block it out in your calendar
- actually take time off and chill

Don't make yourself feel that guilt.

It's Monday 1st December 11:10am as I write this. I'm writing my week of LinkedIn posts in one go, as I normally do. But I'm noticing a theme:

I'm in 'recap' mode.

- it's december now
- it feels like the year's closing in
- i'm feeling reminiscent of the year

It feels really easy to write 'recap' style posts.

Here's where my mind has been going, things like:

- how i started the year vs how i'm ending it
- what was important this year
- what i enjoyed the most this year
- what i love about what i do

Felt very easy to write.

So if you're stuck for what to write on LinkedIn today:

Go in 'recap' mode.

- think about your year
- what was good
- what was shitty

It's nice, fun, easy.

What's been your fave tool of 2025?

It's exactly 1 month 'till Christmas.

That means it's basically 1 month until:

2026. 

What. The. FOOK. Year's flown by. As it always does.

But one thing you may have on your list for Santa this year is:

Grow your LinkedIn.

That's great. Until you remember that you can't do this:

Stay consistent.

- can't post consistently
- can't think of ideas consistently
- can't create a system to do it consistently

It's the number 1 problem, hands down.

I've been a total psycho and posted on LinkedIn for 4 years.

- 2,300+ posts
- 60M+ impressions
- 185,000+ followers

It's been a ride.

I now am able to post 2 x per day and do it all in just one day of the week.

So the rest of the week I focus on my health, making money and life.

Today, on a live & FREE LinkedIn Live, I'll show you how I:

1. Plan my LinkedIn posts
2. Write my LinkedIn posts
3. Schedule my LinkedIn posts

...for a whole week, in less than 2 hours.

On Monday, I got a DM panicking about impressions.

After 4 years writing on LinkedIn, I'll be honest:

I'm numb to it.

- numb to impressions going up and down
- numb to "algorithms changing"
- numb to posts flopping

Not numb because I don't care.

But numb because:

You LITERALLY cannot get away from this.

Your posts will never consistently get:

- more engagement
- more impressions
- more followers

It's not a straight, ascending line of growth.

It's up, it's down, it's sideways.

The same as any growth.

Stop over analysing individual posts. 

Analyse your growth in 12 months time.

MagicPost just dropped a new Calendar feature.

Here's how I'm using it:

1. Capture an idea on the day I want to post it
2. Fill my calendar up with post ideas
(really useful so i don't forget ideas)
3. Click 'Convert to Post' straight from the calendar
4. Write the post in the editor tab that opens
5. Add any media / emojis etc I wanna add
6. Schedule at the time I post e.g. 9:57am
7. Click 'Schedule Post'

Finished.

I love this because before (even though I was already using magicpost.in to write and schedule my LinkedIn posts) I used Google Sheets for planning my posts out.

Now I just do it in MagicPost so it's all in one place.

My LinkedIn posts started getting more impressions when I:

Had fun writing them.

But most people avoid posting all together.

Because they think LinkedIn is "serious."

Here's what changed everything for me:

1. I stopped writing for everyone
2. I wrote like I talk
3. I shared what I actually think
4. I stopped overthinking every word
5. I wrote from my Lived Experience
6. I let my personality show

Now, this ain't easy. 

But if you're still stuck in that LinkedIn is "serious" thinking?

I put together 4+ hours of training on:

- Writing hooks that attract the right audience
- Storytelling that isn't cringe or embarassing
- Getting more clicks on your links in posts

(there's a nuance to that last one)

My prediction for LinkedIn in 2026:

Video will still be shit.

The amount of "I just got invited to LinkedIn and they were talking about video blowing up in 2026" I've seen on here lately.

It's WEIRD.

Are LinkedIn trying to push people to make video content, VIA creators?

I'm not sure.

But we've seen video blow up already on LinkedIn:

- mid to late 2024
- dedicated video feed
- any video got 100k impressions

And that's awesome.

But it quickly fizzled out and that's because LinkedIn is not a video place.

It just isn't.

TikTok is. Insta is.

Yes, I watch the odd video on LinkedIn.

But who's actually sitting there on LinkedIn scrolling mindlessly from one video to the next?

And do LinkedIn really want this?

TikTok but for business?

I'm not convinced AT ALL.
