Our main goal was to enhance the daily customer experience, and we achieved this by crafting and implementing a strategic roadmap to boost customer centricity across the region, resulting in increased loyalty and business growth.

To ensure continuous improvement in our customer experience initiatives, we implemented a data-driven Customer Satisfaction Measurement in 50+ countries. Additionally, we created a regional PMO, which streamlines project prioritisation and overall impact.

Through these initiatives, we converted thousands of customer pain points into positive engagement opportunities, significantly elevating the region's CSAT, NPS, and overall CX.

The Leadership-Fitness Connection

I used to view fitness as optional — something I’d squeeze in if the week allowed. Then I realized that the demands of global travel and leadership were intense, and I couldn’t afford to run on fumes. 

Regular exercise, which I schedule and keep as an unbreakable appointment, reminded me I could push through discomfort, a skill that translated directly into tasks you're often asked to do as a leader, such as having a hard conversation or performing at a high-stakes meeting.

Truth #5 — The Product Launch / Sales Kickoff Is a Loyalty Test Disguised as Reward.

Four hundred people.
Three days.
One hotel ballroom in Orlando that smells like fresh carpet and broken dreams.

Bon Jovi or AC/DC blasting on the speakers for the executives who walk out like they’re at Coachella.

Trophies for “exceeding sales expectations.” (Translation: survived the quarter.)

Sales teams get the spotlight — because apparently, they’re the only ones who need “motivation.”

Then come the new stretch goals…the kind that make last year’s impossible targets look merciful.

Nobody remembers the breakout sessions.
Everyone remembers who started the standing ovation and who checked their phone.

Honestly, it could’ve been an email.

Truth #6 — “Let’s Take This Offline” Is Where Good Ideas Go to Die.

You’ve been there. Someone finally says the thing everyone’s thinking. Honest. Curious. Constructive.

I use AI. (There. I said it.)

But unlike the sudden AI bestselling authors who have "spent the last year" and "late nights and weekends" writing their book. I actually read what the machine creates.

As we close out 2025, I’m sticking to the rule that keeps me sane: 

My  Human-First AI Manifesto.

>Humans stay in charge. AI is not a replacement for my judgment.

>Radical Transparency. If AI helped draft it, I’ll tell you. No secrets.

>Purpose over Speed. If AI doesn't make the work better, I don’t use it just to make the work faster. 

I let AI handle the structure. I handle the ethics, the nuance, and the snark.

Let's encourage more transparency and collectively avoid the gravitational pull of the sea of sameness that genAI seems to pull us towards.

I’ve realized something important about how we talk about AI:

We don’t need more hype.

We don’t need more “AI gurus.”

We need more honesty — and maybe a bit more humility.

So I’m choosing to lead with a Human-First Responsible AI Manifesto.
Not because it sounds good…but because clarity and transparency are becoming rare commodities.

Here’s what I believe — and what our manifesto reinforces:

AI should amplify expertise, not impersonate it.
It’s a force multiplier, not a substitute.

It helps me work smarter — but it doesn’t replace judgment, experience, or integrity. Transparency builds trust.

If AI shaped something, supported an idea, or drafted a first pass… I’ll tell you.

No mystique. No pretending. Just honesty about the tools I use.

Human review is non-negotiable.

Every output gets checked, refined, questioned, and improved — by a real human who cares about the outcome.

Purpose over novelty.
AI isn’t a shortcut to credibility.
It’s a tool for quality, clarity, and better insights — when used intentionally.

And here’s the self-aware part:

I’ve chuckled at the sudden wave of “AI book authors,” too.
I get it, AI makes creation feel easier, faster, almost magical, but I am not buying your e-book. 

Still… the work that resonates?
The work that leads?
Does the work stand the test of time?
It’s the work shaped by real human clarity, ethics, and heart.

That’s why I’m committed to being transparent about how I use AI
