A significant channel was promotional cosmetic manufacturing (you know those branded lip balms, sanitiser etc.) 

The promotional cosmetics channel included in-house printing, design, copy. It closer resembled a marketing company than a factory. 

As the Owner and CEO. I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business from the strategic vision, go to market strategies and business development through to delivery of products to market. 

Employed 50 people at time of exit.

 Cultural and Operational Assessment: Conducted thorough assessments to understand the varying corporate cultures, operational practices, and employee engagement levels within the APAC region. This initial step was crucial for identifying potential integration challenges and opportunities.

Strategic Communication Plan: Developed and executed a comprehensive communication strategy tailored to address the concerns and expectations of employees in the APAC region. This plan included regular updates, Q&A sessions, and open forums designed to provide transparency, reduce uncertainty, and build trust among the workforce.

Integration Workshops and Team Building: Organised integration workshops and team-building activities that fostered collaboration and camaraderie among employees from CM Group and Cheetah Digital, building a unified team ethos.

At Wyn&Co I was hired to open our IT Managed Services division where I was responsible for building out the cloud, data, devops & IT managed service division from the ground up. This included developing market strategies, bringing on key clients & training junior consultants. I specialised in selling solutions across Data, Cloud & DevOps across Australia, working with a number of startups, large consultancies & household names to build out some of the strongest IT teams in Australia.


I was faced with the strategic challenge of diversifying the business model to tap into the more lucrative IT recruitment sector. The goal was to expand the company’s service offerings and significantly increase gross margins by leveraging the higher fee structures typical in IT recruitment.
Recognising the potential for growth and the complexity of entering a new market segment, I led a comprehensive initiative to build the IT recruitment division from scratch.

Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conducted an in-depth market analysis to understand the IT recruitment landscape, identifying key growth areas.

Technology Implementation for Operational Efficiency: Leveraging technology would be crucial for the success of this new division. I spearheaded the implementation of data reporting, dashboarding, and automation tools. This initiative aimed to streamline operations, enhance candidate and client management, and provide real-time insights into recruitment processes.

Team Building and Training: Assembled a dedicated team for the IT recruitment division, I designed and delivered a comprehensive training program to equip the team with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the IT recruitment market.
